He's just so...... exotic. Puts everyone else to shame. Sigh Yes, isn't it interesting. There he is among a group of people wearing bellydancing outfits, mismatch florescent patterns, nothing but a blowing scarf, dogs as accesories, etc, and to me he looks like the exotic one. There is something to be said for authenticity, not trying too hard, dressing for the event at hand, and maintaining some mystery. Keeping it real. Not dissing the others, who I do not know, and maybe I am swayed because I do know Adam, but to me he is the one who stands out. Wearing the same t-shirt to the chiropractor and a red carpet... Yah for Adam!!! Maybe new and one always want to wear the new things in the wardrobe!!! Obviously he likes it.

E! OnLine NEWS/ Jennifer Hudson Signs On as American Idol Judge! (Plus, Find Out Who Else Is Close to Coming Aboard) by Kristin Dos Santos and Marc Malkin Today 7:22 AM PDT www.eonline.com/news/422628/jennifer-hudson-signs-on-as-american-idol-judge-plus-find-out-who-else-is-close-to-coming-aboard
American Idol has nailed down its first alum turned judge: Jennifer Hudson.
Multiple sources confirm exclusively to E! News that the Oscar-winning singer has signed a deal to sit at the judges' table this fall for season 13. The other two spots are also intended for former Idol contestants: Kelly Clarkson and either Adam Lambert or Clay Aiken. We're told that Clarkson is also close to signing on. No word yet on whether Lambert or Aiken will fill the final spot, but producers are expected to keep the panel to three members.
The "superstar-alum" theme is aimed at reclaiming some of Idol's lost viewership—the series is down about 10 million viewers from two years ago, in part because of the success of The Voice.
Fox (smartly) wants to highlight Idol's upper hand: It's the only singing competition to actually manufacture top-selling stars.
"It's Idol alums bringing in the next generation," says one Fox source of the reasoning behind the casting for season 13.
Current judges Nicki Minaj, Mariah Carey, Randy Jackson and Keith Urban will not be returning. Hudson didn't win the show's third season but went on to have one of the most high-profile careers, winning an Academy Award in 2006 for Best Supporting Actress for Dreamgirls. She most recently appeared on the second season of NBC's troubled and now-canceled series Smash. Fox had no comment on Hudson's casting.
Would you tune in for Jennifer Hudson and an all-alum panel?

Hard to actually imagine anyone calling Clay a "superstar".
I really hope it is JHud, Kelly and Adam because that would be a good panel. Well anyone with Adam is OK with me.

You know, I was pretty sure Adam would not get this gig because of "the gay thing." But, if the rumors are true, Idol is deciding between TWO gay guys. Clay or Adam? Adam or Clay? Tough decision...... NOT!Idol, just look at the pics of Adam coming off a 10 hour plane flight in Vienna. Watch him be drop dead charming in the interview after his Idol appearance. Listen to his goal for judging.... it's all about the contestants, which all the media and Idol fans are saying needs to become the focus again to win back an audience. Look at the worldwide press and love for Adam. Clay wasn't on the premiere episode of Chinese Idol. Clay or Adam? Duh! Adam, of course.

I have just got to say how awesome it has been seeing Adam's name and/or face on the yahoo home page for days on end. He was there again today, probably more days than not in the past week. First for Titanium, then for his "where do I sign" comment, then for multiple rumor articles. And when they have a choice of many, they always seem to choose his picture. Proves his relevancy as well as the relevance of Idol's potential on his career.

Sorry but I can not stand to see Adam's name mentioned anywhere near Aiken. IMHO...there is no comparison in looks, charisma, a talent. Adam is an international 'superstar'. I feel if Idol goes with Aiken....get the shovels ready. That's just how I feel....I'll keep quiet and won't comment on it anymore. I hope we get lots of photos of Adam in the beautiful city of Vienna!!
