OK I have to add that it was not only Adam who was great last night!  (flooove this little guy!)
The whole production was awsome, the speeches very touching, Bill Clinton comes across as soo genuine and truly concerned, and Hilary Swank was a great presenter .... and ... and, who else, .... all of them were just tremendously awsome .... only Gery Keszler (The "boss", the founder of Life Ball) seemed off, but he works his butt off every year and looks close to death at every life ball ... the guy just works too much and every year he promises to delegate more and still does not .... he looked and sounded very exhausted.
But the whole show and concept was really really great and I enjoyed it, even apart from being a Glambert.

If you go to this web site imgur.com/a/G0idS#3NcyOFn and click on "Download" on the bottom right, it downloads a zip file of even higher resolution version of these pictures than you get by clicking on these pictures. If you open them in a viewer and zoom in you can tell a few more things about the costume. The design on the turbin is a sequin applique - you can even see the backing mesh of the applique. It looks like gold sequin outlines with gold glass beads, small black crystal rhinestones glued on top of the sequins, some much bigger rhinestones in pronged setting sewn on, and a peacock feather. On the top half of the coat there are appliques with silver sequin outlined with gold glass beads and various colored/sizes rhinestones glued/sewn on. The long green and light blue steamers (more of them on the bottom half) are sequin strings that look like this:  The green leaf looking areas on the bottom half are also sequin. I think the silver steams between the green & blue streams are small rhinestones, but I need even higher resolution to tell for sure. There are glued on rhinestones of on the upper arms, looks like mostly blue, green & citron (light yellow/gold). Another thing that is obvious in the full length picture is that the coat was hemmed after the sequins were sewn on. You can see the hem stiching and it goes over the sequin. So, either it is not the SW jacket, or the SW jacket was shortened. Also, they would have had to take the braid trim off the SW coat to reuse it. |

This day has been perfection. Adam at his very everything! He is soaring to the stratosphere with his talent. It just gets better & better. When we all found him on Idoal....who knew he would bring us all this amazement! Hold on....there is so much more to come....I know it....we know it. And I have been loving Titanium with Angie. Listen to the vid every day to give it support...he definitely was the highlight of the finale. So beautiful. I wish I could meet all of you posting here. Kamar brings so many smiles to our faces...& everyone brings something unique...thank you. I love that you all are from all over the earth to celebrate a true talent & gem of a human being....Adam Lambert!!!!!!!! (Couldnpt figure out how to post a photo here...sorry.)Attachments:
