The video with Herb Wesson was pretty dam special!!!!!!!!!!!It must have warmed Adam's heart to be spoken about in that way!  I watched all the original video from the council meeting, thank you for finding it coralmermaid and wal. Before that I didn't quite understand what was going on. Adorable how Mr Wesson rambled about AI and said he liked especially 'Tracks of my tears' and another song, later in the video he remembers the name and utters 'Mad World' out of the blue when the other councilman (?) who wanted a pic reminded about it. Very cute! |

So happy for Adam's awards and recognition...IMHO,It's amazing how the LA city Council, for the most part,seem to be big Idol fans.. I just wish that they had talked about the world wide popularity& influence Adam has. He has certainly moved on from Idol to be IMHO, a force around the world.. I felt that a couple of the speeches were Stuck in time. Just sayin But when he gets recognition abroad and not in the US, many complain he is not being recognized at home!  This award has zero to do with playing 19K venues in other countries. The mayor's speech, says it all and says it well, IMO! |

Very proud of Adam!  Great timing for Adam to receive all these awards and happy to witness the LA City Council President openly berting about Adam & AI. Hopefully all these will help to push up his chance to become one of the AI judges.  |

I distrust politicians on principle. And watching Bill Clinton's speech at the Life Ball last Saturday did not change that opinion (I would have believed EVERYTHING he said and followed, incl he did not have sex with ... whoever, way back then ...) He comes across as sooo earnest, sooo concerned ... I did not know if I wanted to kiss him or slap him.... I majorly distrust politicians. Same here, great party, lots of smiling faces, they all loved Adam at AI ... I watched it 4times now because I love it so much. BUT: They are politicians .... mucho fake, mucho facetime ..... Plus side? Finally they know that THIS IS THE TRAIN they need to get on!!!! one satisfied Glambert here  |

I don't think they give 2 fucks about an Adam train. There are lots of celebs they could have given this award to. It is LA after all. Villaraigosa's term has ended. This award was given because Adam earned it.
