NIce to see Trespassing back in the Best Sellers top 100 on Amazon China! It was put up for sale since late Jan, stayed within top 10 for a long time and lately has been in & out of top 100...not a great deal of units we're speaking of here but a sign of his popularity and awareness of his music in China! **** FYE #254 and GNL #290

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis Still Atop Hot 100, Robin Thicke Reaches Top 10 Macklemore & Ryan Lewis notch a fifth week at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with "Can't Hold Us," featuring Ray Dalton. Robin Thicke, meanwhile, lands his first Hot 100 top 10, as "Blurred Lines," featuring T.I. and Pharrell, roars 11-6, fueled in part by a 3-1 rise on Digital Songs."Can't Hold Us" remains atop the Hot 100 despite not currently leading any of the list's three main component charts (a feat last managed by Pink's "Just Give Me a Reason," featuring Nate Ruess, five weeks ago). "Hold" falls 1-5 after five weeks in charge of Digital Songs, decreasing by 13% to 184,000 downloads sold, according to Nielsen SoundScan, and 2-3 on Streaming Songs, drawing 5 million U.S. streams in the tracking week (down 11%), according to Nielsen BDS. The cut's airplay continues to grow, however, as "Hold" pushes 3-2 on Radio Songs with 131 million all-format audience impressions (up 3%), according to BDS. After four weeks of no movement in the Hot 100's top three, Justin Timberlake's "Mirrors" contributes to a slight shake-up, lifting 3-2. Passing the No. 3 peak of his previous single "Suit & Tie," featuring Jay-Z, Timberlake tallies his highest rank since "Dead and Gone," on which he assisted T.I., peaked at No. 2 in early 2009. He last placed higher as a guest, with Nelly Furtado, on Timbaland's two-week No. 1 "Give It to Me" in April 2007. A month earlier, he'd crowned the chart with his own "What Goes Around…Comes Around." "Mirrors" tops Radio Songs for a third week (up 2% to 154 million, his best weekly audience for any of his singles), while dropping 9-10 on Digital Songs (131,000, down 7%) and 10-12 on Streaming Songs (3.2 million, down 9%). Thicke boasts the lone new entry in the Hot 100's top 10, as "Blurred Lines" blasts 11-6 with top Airplay Gainer honors. The sultry song surges 46-17 on Radio Songs with a 68% gain to 48 million. It concurrently becomes his first Digital Songs No. 1 (3-1) via a 20% increase to 229,000. On Streaming Songs, the cut climbs 33-25 (2.1 million, up 16%). Thicke had previously peaked as high as No. 14 on the Hot 100 with his first entry, "Lost Without U," in 2007. "Blurred Lines" featured act Williams – also at No. 3 on Daft Punk's "Get Lucky" – adds his sixth Hot 100 top 10 (after collecting his first four in 2003-06), and his first set of concurrent top 10s, while T.I. tallies his 11th and first since the aforementioned "Dead and Gone" (2009). ********************* ********************* For the complete article, go to www.billboard.com/articles/news/1565745/macklemore-ryan-lewis-still-atop-hot-100-robin-thicke-reaches-top-10

FINALLY!!!!!
"All Things Digital" is reporting, "SONY MUSIC has signed on to APPLE’s forthcoming iRADIO service, according to a person familiar with negotiations between the two companies." CNET confirms the report, writing, "After more than year of off-and-on negotiations, APPLE has now reached deals with all three major music labels, making it increasingly likely that APPLE will unveil its free Internet radio service at next week's WWDC event. The latest deal is with SONY MUSIC, according to industry sources who said the two sides struck a deal FRIDAY morning. SONY was the last major holdout, which reportedly annoyed the other labels (NET NEWS 5/23). If SONY is indeed in on iRADIO, we can expect APPLE to make the launch official during its annual developer conference

Took a look at my Trespassing sales file to see what numbers I had recorded for countries other than the US. Here is what I have.
2012/06/02 Canada 7300
2012/06/23 Japan Oricon Physical 5521 overall 7705 (this was Japanese release)
2012/07/15 UK 7107 UK NCOE 16060
I only recorded numbers that we had actual reports of not speculation.

I might as well bring this over since I researched it yesterday for a little discussion with Q3.
These are the peaks for Trespassing in countries that we have reports for. This is sales, not radio charts. I presume it is debut week. Notice that South Africa & China are not there.

Thanks for posting this. I am always dying to know something about total numbers worldwide. We also know that he sold at least 5,000 in Hungry with going gold, and was close to gold in South Africa. Yesterday I read that break even point for a major label was about 250K (don't know if true), so my guess is that he at the very least made that and probably a comfortable amount more. My own very uneducated guess who be around 320k, and this doesn't count streaming income. We do know for certain that RCA is happy enough with him to give him another album.
