I wonder if it is even worth it to mess with these polls. Kelly and Jennifer fans mostly don't bother. They don't need to. I don't think Adam needs it either. Clay fans always win these polls by huge margins and his current sales of concert tickets and CDs don't back up those wild numbers. Wouldn't they look more stupid if they are the only ones using bots and underhanded methods to win these things by such unbelievable numbers. I don't think it fools anyone.  Also if Clay won I can't believe that people would believe that Clay is the most popular of the four. I mean if he was more popular than Kelly he'd have a record deal and be doing more than Celebrity Apprentice. I can understand voting, I voted today. It just feels ridiculous. And since I've been voting Adam's #s are going down so it's frustrating. I'm just hoping this Clay stuff ends soon. |

Honestly, it probably would have been better if Adam fans had just ignored the poll like Kelly and Jennifer fans did. Adam could have finished, like them, with 7 or 8 percent or something, and the Clay fandom would have looked ridiculous coming in all alone with 70 or 80 percent. NOBODY is going to take seriously any poll where Clay comes in ahead of Kelly Clarkson. I agree! Wonder if we can take back some votes?! LOL! Ha! I think that the best thing would be just to post intelligent comments supporting Adam and ignore all spammable polls in the future. This People poll has no anti-vote automation provisions at all. And they do not appear to be clearing out excessive voting. |

It's weird, but sometimes losing a poll like this actually gains an artist more credibility than winning (especially if someone like Clay Aiken is involved) I live for the day when the fandom is secure enough to just say no to some of these things like fans of Kelly and Carrie and Jennifer always do. |

If these are the numbers: Jennifer Hudson 2% Kelly Clarkson 5% Clay Aiken 45% Adam Lambert 48% Then I think we may prefer to be associated with Jennifer Hudson and Kelly Clarkson over Clay Aiken...which is the case at the moment. We need to show that we are above this kind of nonsense...playing with the big folks...not the crays. jmho EFA lol I see I am posting on the end of a similar series of posts...hahaha...great minds think alike....I was also wishing we could actually take those votes back. well....lesson learned, I hope... |

Speaking of polls, we are in good shape on the other easily spammed poll, Wendy Williams': 70% to 28%.
It is more pleasant because comments don't appear on voting page.
The People Poll is the worst I have ever been involved in. I think the fact that there is no love loss between Adam and Clay fans let it degenerate into something quite mean spirited. I wish we had taken the high road on this one like Kelly and Jennifer's fans, but too late now. Of course, it is easier for the ladies when one is reported to has turned the judgeship down, and the other is reported by many to be on board.
