I've been voting a bit for People today but found that it's lost the fun factor for me, so haven't voted like I have in the past.
I've been voting on "O Music Award" for glambert fan army, but after seeing fans on other boards dropping out of that one as Tokio Hotel has won the last 3 years, wondering whether I should keep going on that one - although MTV has been good to Adam lately so think I'll keep going for a while.
Voting fatigue!

I wonder if it is even worth it to mess with these polls. Kelly and Jennifer fans mostly don't bother. They don't need to. I don't think Adam needs it either. Clay fans always win these polls by huge margins and his current sales of concert tickets and CDs don't back up those wild numbers. Wouldn't they look more stupid if they are the only ones using bots and underhanded methods to win these things by such unbelievable numbers. I don't think it fools anyone.  Yes, Clay's full of himself and his fans' annoying, but as annoying as they're, I have to agree with you that I think we shouldn't bother. The decision makers at Fox will not bother with this poll. |

Speaking of polls, we are in good shape on the other easily spammed poll, Wendy Williams': 70% to 28%. It is more pleasant because comments don't appear on voting page. The People Poll is the worst I have ever been involved in. I think the fact that there is no love loss between Adam and Clay fans let it degenerate into something quite mean spirited. I wish we had taken the high road on this one like Kelly and Jennifer's fans, but too late now. Of course, it is easier for the ladies when one is reported to has turned the judgeship down, and the other is reported by many to be on board. The Clay fans will eventually spam the Wendy poll too. This is a game I have no interest in winning. |

This was my post 20 hrs ago lost on page 1 between the news, cakes & nostalgia. Other posters have speculated
about bots & Foo's as possibilities for the surge in Clay votes. Whatever the reason, I found it very fishy & stopped
voting after my last post. It's obvious that Jhud & Kelly fans are not voting but now with Adam's 48% it's going
to look like Glamberts tried & lost to Clay.

I think that People.com could be driving the votes for Clay to get more clicks? I'm sure they know by now the Glamberts will fight to the death & having Clay advance just makes us want to vote more. It looks like there are 583 comments on this story. No love lost between Glamberts & Claymates & they know it based on the comments. I bet none of their other stories have this many comments & this much traffic. We should just let them have the win & let People.com look foolish. As you stated before their polls have no purpose & no end date.
Speaking of end dates, do we know when Wendy will announce the winner of her poll?
