WOW Q3 , you are a genius !!! I honestly didn't know any of this !!! But this : "So if Trespassing has not recouped costs, why did RCA go ahead with a third album for Adam. Probably because they believe there is a good chance that A3 will sell a lot. And there are many reasons to believe that Adam has good sales prospects. FYE was very profitable. Adam is very popular in many countries. They believe in his ability to put out popular music -- WWFM." You really think that ?? A3 will sell a lot ?? Greater promo this time ?? But I am not predicting sales for A3 yet since it does not exist, just saying that RCA must believe it will sell since the are going ahead with the new album. ** A3 will be released when Adam and attitudes are in a very different place that it was for FYE and even for Trespassing. Being gay will now be neutral or a plus: He has broad support in the LBGT community and press, and that can translate into sales. Plus, being gay is being a "so what" for more and more people in the US. I also believe that Adam and RCA learned a lot from the Trespassing era. And if RCA did not believe in Adam, they would have dropped him from their roster. Just researched the discography on Trespassing: These are the peaks of the album. I'll do the countries where it came in Top 10 first. Australia #10

These are only the countries we know about. For instance S Africa is not there and we were told it was close to Gold there. And no numbers for China. Yes, I know most of China gets their music free, but it was #1 on their Amazon and in their Top 10 for quite a while, so someone was actually paying for it!
What is my point? I don't think 400K is an outlandish figure considering all the countries this album has been sold in. |

Me, too, granduchesspf. I can't help it. I've struggled to accept that they're apart and for the most part I have, but I love them together.
