Hey everybody, guess what I'm going to do this next week-end? I have to go to Texas for a residency (for my MS program) and from the 14-16th I decided to go to Austin (because I've never been there and it's my birthday during the residency). Guess who lives in Austin?? Why, LindaG23 and Juniemoon -- who are going to host me and take me on a sight-seeing tour. We're going to eat barbecue and watch bats among other very cool things!!!! Whoo!!! Can you tell I'm excited? I can't wait to spend time with these amazing women and of course, discuss all things Adam in great detail! I may even take pictures...  OMG these bats are so cute! I never thought I would say that. I've had bats TWICE in my house and had a terrible time getting them out. They were flying around the bedrooms & the living room and it was a scary situation! NEVER thought of bats as cute until now. Disclaimer: I do know they are very valuable creatures for the environment. Here's what mine looked like. Not cute.  So other than that I'm still having trouble keeping caught up with our man even though nothing is happening! |

Trying to read the threads this morning BUT my heart is heavy...I'm losing another dog...my German Shepard. I can't stand this heartache....another rescue....no more I can't take this pain CrazyforAdam ... still going to Pitts? Jazzrtocks have you changed our mind???? One week away... Reading backwards from end of thread and I just saw this. I am SO SORRY about the loss of your dog. I've been through that several times and it's so difficult. As for Pittsburgh - jeez don't tempt me. I've been tottering on the edge but it would be madness for me to go. I have other commitments that weekend. But I really really wanna go. ![]() |
