I donated to both Charity: Water and Donors Choose before Adam. I was so pleased when he selected them. I think they are equally great charities.
I will set up giving pages on both but I think I will make them "Inspired by Adam" rather than linked directly to ATop. More news next week.
And thanks to MyS*&@^#r50 for inspiring me!!

Me too!! I think the reason is because good water is just something I take for granted. These pics just drive home how lucky I am & how this cause is so worth it! Do we have an ATop Charity Water page? I'd love to keep donating this charity! What a good idea!! We could do an Adamtopia Birthday Page if y'all are interested, I will set it up. Just let me know. If I have 10 yes-es I will do it! Please post in the thread.I think this is a great idea!  |

That sounds about right -- but that is not just Adam -- it is Adam, band, dancers (I believe), crew and expenses. But a nice deal for all involved. I doubt this person is in the know...just look at his tweets... not giving me any fuzzies... The tweeter is a Delta Foundation volunteer and the number is really just about right. I heard a similar number yesterday from someone else involved with the event. So it is at least in the right ballpark. ETA: There are a lot of people involved in a concert like this and the performance fee is just a piece of the total number. |
