Maybe the vote will split between the two country acts and Michelle will get through. We will see. I think this was the finals. So whomever wins tonight wins. I know. When I said get through, I meant get through as the winner. Bad choice of words but I was thinking about squeezing through the two country pillars. Not sure it is enough though. Danielle seems to have very strong backing. SOO tired of country. I heard from a lovely Glambert I wound up sitting next to on the flight home (she is originally Austrian) that all of Europe has now awoken to country music and love it. Sigh. |

Maybe because country music ,actually has words and stories one can relate to.. I'm sick to the death of country music, but rap and some OTT meaningless POP do me in . Happily Pop seems to be getting more artistic and more unique.. just maybe time for Adam's third album. We may have to march on Clear Channel to get Adam played on radio.. But I have my pitch fork and I'm ready to go.. LOL |

A few more thoughts on Pgh Pride. I was delighted to talk to lots of people who knew Adam from idol and had Trespassing and liked it but had not seen him live. Standing in line I talked to a young 19 yo guy who said he loved Tp and that Underneath was his favorite song and he'd not seen him live yet. People were SO excited, those who come and support in general and those who were clearly there specifically to see Adam. There were 2 other guys in their early 20s who said they drove down from a small town north of Pgh. One knew Adam's songs and the other was going to be surprised. Neither had seen him live either. At the concert I talked to a mom and her 16yo daughter who had followed Adam since Idol but not seen him live. Obviously people are still interested. Anyway, despite the typical concert issues (passing out, a fight and pushing) most attendees just enjoyed the show. it was a LONG wait from 6 til 10 when Adam came on, but worth every moment of standing. I had a great view, a few rows back from the wheelchair area so could see very well (except for the 2 women in VIP w/ signs, hope that is not anyone here that I offend, but signs should just stay at home or be shown once. They totally obscured seeing Adam every time they were put up and it was a lot....I did not get to talk to newbies after the show, but alot of people asked if I had seen Adam w/ Queen (in London) as I wore that t-shirt, and so I got to rave about that. night all.
