I just came across this passage in a book I am reading and thought it did a good job of describing many a glambert's reaction to Adam. The author refers to the person on whom they are obsessing as the Obscure Object.
See, everything leads back to Adam in one form or another. LOL.

If Adam had wanted to make a equality speech, he would have. I thought he was trying to make it about the music as the event and him being there was a statement in and of itself. When he has mentioned hoping for a "post gay" society, making it about the music at this pride fed into that wish.

Adam on BRDWAY will ruin me....  Oh, I can see it now. Repeated trips to NYC, repeated front row tickets. $$$$$$$$I would have to take out a second mortgage and my DH would probably leave me. Please, posers that be, make it come true! |

Re Pgh, I think that there was both backing track and also Brian singing. I agree that backing singers not needed at this event, and it would have been very crowded on stage.
