animated...that artwork you gave aleks is gorgeous!! WOW!!
Happy to see adam still out and about in NYC. He sure is getting his Broadway fix....but I've got to say it - as stunning as he looks in some pictures (WWZ premiere) I think the facial hair makes him look quite a bit older. Maybe that's what he's goin' for, I dunno. (and I still miss the eyeliner! *cries*)

But please be aware that I am working on getting you something that will likely be much better quality than what you can do from the YouTube downloads. So I hope that when I get them done you will pick up the new stuff even if you have already made your own. Cannot thank you enough for working on "something that will likely be much better quality" Will wait until your treats are available. Have converted video to MP3 but some of the free software doesn't handle some of the large YT files that are 10 and 12 minutes long , HQ and containing several songs. Anyway, will be patient. Leaving for San Francisco and will only be able to check in once in a while so may PM you when I get back. |

I realize that everyone wants CDs & DVDs right away. And if you know how to download audio/video from YouTube and convert to CD &/or DVD, you are certainly welcome to do so. But please be aware that I am working on getting you something that will likely be much better quality than what you can do from the YouTube downloads. I'm just learning how to do the audio editing and the more sophisticated video editing as needed. I just learned an important lesson last night when trying to convert the audio from the video into mp3 files. I had boosted the audio on the video to full-scale and now I read that doing this can cause some distortion in the mp3 conversion - and I learned it the hard way! I should have boosted the audio to less than full-scale to give the mp3 converters some "room" to do their thing. So, since I am such a perfectionist, I will go back and do it right before posting mp3 files. In Vulcan (LOL) for those that under stand the language:  I boosted the audio up to full scale, i.e., so that the peaks in the waveform just hit 0 dB (audio waves are in the negative dB). But some of the compression algorithms (mp3 converters, etc.) adjust the volume a little bit, pushing the peaks over 0 dB, resulting in distortion since everything over 0 dB gets clipped. I couldn't believe that Audacity was one of those software programs that would introduce the clipping in this scenario. So I need to go back and adjust the volume to peak at a little below 0 dB, say -1 dB, before converting to other formats. Live ling and prosper everyone!
