OK, here is an embarrassingly dumb question, but its a nagging little worry that I would like to dismiss. I put my computer on mute and stream Adam on Rhapsody & Spotify as well as run the video play list that 4Msrmyn posts off and on all day long. My worry is that they might negate each other. For example, would the powers at Rhapsody ever know that I am gaming the system and not count the plays? Speaking of Spotify, anyone who hasn't followed Adam there should try to do so. His follower count is very, very low 94,735 compared to most other artists, and this is an important site in what is a new era for music distribution. The thing about Spotify is that the artists get very,very little money from it..Adam once mentioned that.. anyone know where he talked about Spotify? I really don't know what to do about it If he doesn't have very many followers or people streaming it, he is not going to make very much money on it! When he made that statement, it was before streaming was being counted by BB and RIA. It's a whole new ballgame now! Every stream helps! |

Makes perfect sense that the more he gets streamed the more he gets paid. Lots if streams will make RCA happy too. I think streaming is very important for him as it is the wave of the future.
