THE BEST SO FAR!!!! CLOSE UP! Sam Bernero @toni7babe 3h @adamlambert Video I took of you singing at Broadway Bares 2013 midnight show. www.youtube.com/watch?v=eJu9d2TVghg … and again - the end part. I am sure it was like "WOW!!! I BETTER RECORD THAT!".... Speechless. Lawd Almighty, where did all that power come from?? Not so much a third lung, as many comment, but an extra resonance chamber that we mere humans don't have in our anatomy. It's like he has in internal amplifier. I am grinning ear to ear over this performance. This is Adam on overdrive; a total showman tuned into the energy of the event. In the Miramar version, Adam is singing the National Anthem to service men and women. The song is the message and the purpose. As a singer, he gives himself over to the lyrics and the intent. This performance, on the other hand, was Adam showing the audience exactly what ADAM can do vocally. ADAM milking each phrase for the audience. Sing a phrase and rock the rafters. Pause for the audience's incredulous response. Sing the next phrase like they've never heard it sung before. Wait for them to cheer. And repeat. To me, the ending was not a military salute. It was "Done. Check. That's how you do it! Over, and out." (And, just perhaps, a bit of irony? "If you had ever cast me in a Broadway lead, back before I was an 'overnight sensation', when I couldn't get out of the back line of the chorus, THAT'S what you would have gotten, MFers.") Bravo, Adam! Perhaps the other irony to this salute is that it was the boy scout salute. A little attitute to that....

Wow!!!!!!!!!!! Amazing!!!!!!!!!
For those that were bothered by the salute, we see in the close up that it wasn't a full military salute, but a 2 finger salute. He knows what he's doing!

Bravo, Adam! Malcolm talks about belting 5th octave EEEE vowels. For a male singer, that is extraordinary! That vowel sound is produced with a relatively closed mouth, making it very difficult to produce that high and that loud and with that much resonance. Those males who can sing in the 5th octave at all (a rarity) usually can only belt with an open-mouthed AHHH sound. Are we SURE Adam is human? Thanks! We've heard him go higher and still sound powerful right? I loved how he took that little break between phrases. "Yes, I DID just do that. Just a moment and I will do some more." This is all sorts of EPIC! Yes, WE'VE heard him sing even higher and with power. But, most folks haven't had that pleasure. And, honestly, I can't think of another performance with as much power plus resonant, pure ring as this one. BTW, one reason singers are so blown away by Can't Let You Go is that Adam is singing actual lyrics on those ultra-high, 5th octave lines. As with singing the EEEEE, articulating actual lyrics that high is extremely difficult... for most folks, impossible.

I just had to leave a comment on the YT. I wrote: The technique, the mastery and the pure balls it takes to sing like this is breathtaking and mind-boggling. You know the guy who just completed a high-wire walk across the Grand Canyon? Well, this is the vocal equivalent.
