Adam Lambert, Michael Stipe “Shred Of Hope” T-Shirts Drawing Big Bids At Auction

The bidding for Shred of Hope t-shirts designed by Adam Lambert, Michael Stipe, Jake Shears and other boldfaced names kicked off on June 20 and already bidders are offering top dollar for these one-of-a-kind customized tees, which benefit the LGBT youth services of the Ali Forney Center.
Bids on Lambert’s shirt have topped $2,400 while Michael Stipe’s tee has surpassed the $2025 mark. Other big pulls include Andy Cohen ($660) and Scissors Sister’s Babydaddy ($600). Almost all the shirts—provided by Chelsea clothier Nasty Pig—are bidding over $200 but considering their uniqueness, the celebrity cache and the good cause they support—it’s money well spent.
