Just a guess, but I think ADAM loves NYC He seems very happy doesn't he? As Adam said in Miami I think, he has a fabulous life style. So happy for him, and love how he gives back.

I've been thinking about the comments from those attending Broadway Bares who say that Adam did not sing the whole song. At first I thought "That's ridiculous." But, everyone does start their video at almost the exact same point... the bridge. Surely SOMEONE would have started it even a half a phrase earlier, right? Perhaps there was some kind of pre-recorded instrumental for the first sixteen bars, and then Adam appears on stage, the instrumental drops out, and he finishes the song. Surprise! I guess it could happen.

Q3, and others, I was trying to be humorous with my "story.". I should have added a disclaimer That' okay. I thought it was a great theory. I'll bet he sang because of the Charl connection, since he was also performing. Lots of things happen because of connections.

But do you think the SSB was planned? Not Q3, but I believe Adam is very aggressive in pursuing opportunities to put himself out there. I was surprised when I learned that he volunteered for Life Ball. I would not be surprised to learn that he volunteered to sing the SSB. ETAThe time on the tweet is 6:14 PM EDT, well before the 1st show. I am 99% sure -- the SSB was planned in advance and planned as a "surprise". I also think they planned the "leak" to generate buzz for the show and to promotion online donations. >> This is a show that involve months of planning and 200+ professional dancers. It is not some "hey kids, let's put on a show" event. Also, if they wanted a real surprise, Adam would not have done a dress rehearsal earlier in the day with so many people around. And we know he did not need to do a dress rehearsal for the SSB. He has done it before without rehearsal. ** This looks like a PR exposure trip to me -- that also involves spending time with friends.

OK, so the new producers for Idol just happened to be the 2 executive producers for DIVAS 2012, just saying! t.co/Dm6eZtDdlqI haven't read any further in the thread, so someone else may have already mentioned this. These 2 producers have a production company named Den of Thieves which is represented by CAA. Adam is on CAA's Touring Rooster...so the CAA connection may also be a factor.

Must say that article about the Divas producers joining the Idol team has given me new hope....even though it goes on to suggest that an all alum panel might be shelved, and while his name has been brandied about, Adam hasn't been formally approached....
Adam was effin' BRILLIANT hosting DIVAS and I think most everyone noticed!

OK, so the new producers for Idol just happened to be the 2 executive producers for DIVAS 2012, just saying! t.co/Dm6eZtDdlqStart prepping those mashed potatoes ... I would hold off on the mashed potatoes -- or at least make a very small portion. They were 2 of the 8 producers. Here is the list: Produced by Barbara Bialkowski .... producer Carolina Elias .... associate producer Emily Harper .... coordinating producer Jesse Ignjatovic .... executive producer Rick Krim .... executive producer Rickey Minor .... executive producer Evan Prager .... executive producer Lee Rolontz .... executive producer ETA: The connection of Adam to CCA to Den of Thieves is probably not meaningful. The decision on judges will be made at the top of FOX and Fremantle -- not by the show producers. And from what I can piece together, CORE/19 has very little say in it anymore - since FOX and Fremantle are kicking in the money. There is also Simon Fuller, who is still Idol's Executive Producer. And Per Blankens, previously the producer of Swedish "Idol." And David Hill former News Corp. executive and veteran live-sporting-event producer. And FremantleMedia North America COO Donna Redier Linsk who opted not to renew her contract and will be a consultant at FMNA’s Fox series American Idol until December. BUT I just noticed the best thing about this article -- they mention Adam but not Clay! (I hate when they are in the same sentence.)
