So nice that Adam is included with a good amount of screen time on Bonnie McKee super fun video. Didn't she once tweet that she wanted to have his "love child"? Vaguely remember that. I think that Adam's part with that obvious, universal gesture will be one that people definitely remember.

This was tweeted as a reply to the Rolling Stones tweet. It's a good one for today and I like the b&w for Adam. What a remarkable video..sums up my feelings about today..  A great day today, and a great video. But yesterday's SCOTUS decision to leave it up to Congress to decide which states should have to get Justice Dept. approval for changes in voting laws demonstrates that one cannot sit back and assume everything will keep moving in the right direction.... As Congressman John Lewis said last night, he really didn't think he would have to fight that battle again. I know this topic is OT here, but love is love, and equal treatment under the law is equal treatment under the law... |

Thanks for deleting some of the gifs of Adam, adorable as they are. My computer is pretty fast and I was having an awful time getting pages loaded. Appreciate it, everyone! ![]() If you are having trouble loading pages with GIFs, it is the speed of your internet connection, not your computer. Unless you are on a slow connection which is rare, check your modem and made sure your computer is clean -- that you do not have a bunch of things running in background. (On a PC check you task manager.) ETA: If you are using Internet Explorer -- change to a better browser. OK. I know what is now missing from my life. A video of a bunch of Adam fans wearing edgy glam cheerleading outfits and 4 inch platform boots with A.D.A.M. R.O.C.K.S. spelled out on the back of their shirts in sequins..., with cheers for him and for the overturn of DOMA.
Adam fans of the world you know I am right. I'm thinking four (five?) squads with the camera panning to each, one squad of straight girl fans, one squad all trans fans, one all gay guy fans, and one all lesbian fans, (one all straight guy fans?! : ). Each does a cheer and then pass off to the next squad a few times.
At the end everyone piles in the center and holds hands in the air. I'm not joking. This video is missing from my life. I want this video.
HUGE couple of days for so many reasons, including Obama's amazing climate speech yesterday. We just might take some environmental responsibility! What? Bravo everyone who has fought for the overhaul of DOMA! (A start!) Bravo Wendy Davis!!! Talk about fierce. Bravo 350.org!

Second person I sent the SSB vid to - my daughter, who is not a Stan. This was her email reply today:
"That is crazy! That is definitely the best I've ever heard anyone sing that song."
It is a little cray how happy it makes me when people who are not stans say that- especially people I love!
Also making me happy- a Pitchfork interview video of my son! So excited- I put it up in the Member's news thread if anyone is interested.
AND I GET TO SEE ADAM IN SAN DIEGO IN JUST A FEW DAYS WITH GREAT FRIENDS!!!!!!
