The gracious smokeyvera invited me to go with her to Orlando to see Adam. As much as I longed to see him perform live, I knew there was no way I could tolerate the heat and humidity in Florida in mid-summer. I would have collapsed. And that would be from just standing in that heat. Adam performed at 100%. He spends an incredible amount of energy performing under any circumstances. I recall Angelina talking about the small London showcase where she got a hug after from Adam and he was drenched in sweat. She could feel the heat and energy radiating off of him. After just 5 songs, most sitting down.
Adam loves performing. He loves the audience interaction. He is young and fit. Still, the performance last night must have taken a huge toll on his energy reserves. I cannot help but think he was mighty uncomfortable up on that stage. Yet, he put on an incredible show! I am in awe of his ability and his commitment to his art and his fans.

We saw him perform in many a hot/humid environment but I can't remember him looking this overheated (literally  .. I am surprised the Universal venue doesn't have more powerful fans or blowing A/C for the stage, given the climate... and this was a "cool" night for FL by any standard, it was showing "only" 83 F /27C last night.... a different kind of observation: in many pictures I see MOSTLY men!!! all ages... in general - the audience looked awesome! The crowed looked HUGE! Whatever the numbers - it was filled to capacity, and I am sure as the show started and the sun went down - the people were listening outside the visible range as well. We are getting GREAT videos! from different points! Thank you Lynneville and cos2mwiz and Jesh84 and nolechica63! and everyone who twitted, posted pictures and vines! |
