Vikkisusanne I think I may have been in line with you in the restroom just after the LiveProud concert. I was in there with that Bai Ling gal too ! She didn't know anything about Adam. We were filling her in on his growing popularity in China. Wish I had met you. I stood next to theosgma down at the stage. I'm too tired to recap my last 6 days in California tonite, but will try tomorrow. Saw lots of old friends, met some new ones.....talked briefly with Adam..... Kamar So glad you're back BB !!!

I just got home from my unreal junket of the last two weeks - three amazingly different aspects of my life sandwiched together in a space of 14 days. It started in the Pocano Mountains where I taught a Vedic Astrology seminar to a very lovely group of people. Then it was off to NY and the wedding festivities. My daughter married another very special lady just a few days after DOMA went down. The entire wedding was permeated with the joy of knowing that this was to be a marriage as fully legitimate as any other. My precious 4 year old Theo was both a flower child and the ring bearer for his mama and mom. And then.........it was time for grandma to boogie off to San Diego for Act III. Having lived in SD for 17 years, it was a wonderful chance to connect with old and new friends while basking in the glory of AFL for a surprise TWO performances! Stardust had delivered the happy news that I would be included in her group of four going to ATT Pride. I was beside myself. When Duchess sadly could not join us, I met up with Vikki and was delighted that she could rearrange her trip home and complete our foursome - Sophie, Stardust, Vikkiesusanne and myself. Sophie graciously offered her room for me to change in and we went over to the Fair together. She is completely lovely and once again I found myself so grateful for the community of wonderful fans that Adam has drawn to him and through him to each other. Del Mar show was amazing. Adam was bouncy and absolutely lovely as you all have seen on the vids. I was on the Terrace and while I agree that the view was fantastic, I was a bit frustrated that there was only one little knot of ladies that were standing up!! How can you not stand up???????. I made my way over to the group thinking for sure they were diehard Glamberts and found to my surprise that they were all virgins. They were tripping over the fact that I knew the words to all the songs NONE of which they had ever heard other than WWFM and the covers. Didn't know about Queen. Didn't even know he had a second album out. On one hand it broke my heart and on the other hand, I realize that many people that night were becoming reacquainted with Adam and these concerts were expanding his fan base. After the concert I went down to the floor and saw a knot of people surrounding Eber. I shyly went over and found he was graciously and seemingly happily greeting fans and taking pictures. I was really taken in by how much Adam reflects the finest qualities of both his amazing parents. There was such a familiar sweetness about Eber that I felt I could just step right in, chat for a bit and take a picture. Next morning I picked up Vikki and we were off to a totally unknown adventure in LA. No one really knew what to expect or how the event was going to be organized but we were just thrilled to be going. I can't tell you how great it was to be able to spend what turned out to be hours in the car with someone who was as willing as I was to talk about Adam non stop. More and more I am finding that there are two species of humans - those who get Adam and those who are totally sensory deprived and are to be pitied. Unfortunately, the latter comprise the vast majority of people who populate my world. To be able to be fully uncorked was a huge relief and anyone lucky enough to spend that kind of time with Vikki will agree that though she does not post much, she is ALL IN!!!! We fit hand to glove and had a ball. The event turned out to be a GA club event and at first, we all thought the floor space around the stage would be (rightfully so) reserved for the contest people and other notables. However in a magic moment, it was opened up to anyone and I went for it big time and wound up with only one smaller lady between me and the stage. When Adam came on, it was even more mesmerizing than ever and the bolt of power and energy that went through me was overwhelming. I described to my hubby tonight that being that close allowed me to feel how very cellular the music and rhythm is for Adam. His whole body is alive with his music. When any part of him moves (and EVERY PART of him moves!) it is from inside out. His body and voice are a united force of nature. He was so lively, happy and connected. Glad to be performing at home and in his element completely. He was deliciously interactive and just right there in front of us. He locked eyes with the guy next to me and I thought the poor soul would immolate on the spot. He reached out to us during that lovely section in WWFM where we show him our love and it was our chance to tenderly touch him. It was early in the set and his arm was surprisingly cool but his beautiful eyes warm and not at all remote as he sometimes can be when he has his "stage on". As usual, it was over too soon though as we found out, Adam was amazingly generous in that he had only committed to sing three songs and delivered at least ten. Vickki and I headed back to San Diego with zero loss of words, chatting all the way to her hotel and resolving to meet up again as soon as the opportunity presents itself. Carpe diem is our mantra. Getting late and I need to get off CA time and back to EDT. Love you all and HUGE THANKS TO STARDUST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Vickisusanne --THANK YOU for sharing your wonderful Adam experiences with us! Wow--I really wish I had been able to go to at least one of these events, but hearing about it from all the recappers has helped me to "be there" in spirit.
