Is the Hollywood Reporter legit? Usually, unfortunately. Holy hell. I can't process this, so much wrong with this. I am not usually one to go into fandom meltdowns, but I hope everything about this little article is wrong. WOW - I'm hanging on to the edge of the cliff with the tips of my fingernails trying not to get all hyper about this -- really!? A #1 billboard release? MAJOR wtf.

shirley halperin apparently does have connections (so I have read) but how sad/bad to read that there was no internal support for TP from RCA- is that why they blew the promotion? I worry about the fit of Adam w/ RCA. is this why they let him be exec producer - so he could be blamed for the poorer sales, that is happening for most singers right now. except for those at the very top with lots of advertising funds. Somehow I can't see Adam doing covers but maybe some new Queen songs fit in there somehow. He seems to be on the fringe of a huge hit at times, ie working w/ Pharrel and Nile (Shady), and other times ahead of the curve. Timing has a lot to do with it. Didn't RCA do the same thing to Kelly Clarkson at one time??? That Clyde Davis fiasco.

TJB @redsetterer 7 Jul Check out Favorite Adam Lambert Hair Color – Readers Poll popcrush.com/favorite-adam-lambert-hair-color-readers-poll/ ?trackback=twitter_top … @popcrush Until recently, Adam Lambert has played with hair color, but only to a certain degree. We’ve tallied up some of the ‘Trespassing’ hit maker’s most memorable dye jobs from over the years, and we want to know which color you Glamberts like best on your beloved. The usually dark-haired singer debuted lavender-gray hair in late summer, and before that he had experimented with a variation of the color by adding some streaks in his jet-black hair. While most people could not pull of such a drastic color like purplish-gray, Lambert totally rocks it. We also love the streaks of blondish gray he had before then, but it’s cool to see the belter totally switching up his dark ‘do for a change. Before he transitioned into his lavender-gray territory, Lambert went more au natural with a pretty brown shade. He still kept his signature rock flair by spiking up his hair, but the brown really suited Lambert and gave his skin a natural glow, as well. Maybe Lambert got sick of the blue-green streaks he had before his brown hair, and wanted to opt for something more organic? Nah! Those turquiose streaks are awesome. And finally, we’ve got classic Adam Lambert with jet-black hair. Take a look at some of Adam Lambert’s hair colors over the years and vote for your favorite below! nI really liked the platinum blonde and black with light blonde highlights

Well i do think Adam's sound was ahead of the curve, could see them not knowing what to do with it since they selected BTIKM. That style is more what they had in mind. They are giving him the opportunity for another album though so they see something in him Is it good that they are giving him another album or would it be better if he cut loose and went Interscope? They at least seem to know how to push their artists. I can't imagine another label would not pick him up. IDK. Adam is the first one I have stanned but RCA has been fingers nails on my blackboard from the get go.

OK. If that's not a reason to leave RCA I don't know what is. Why woul a label EVER say such a thing about one of their artists??? Maybe Adams week in New York involved being courted by another label? (Rampant speculation alert!!) Replying to myself cuz I can't seem to add an ETA...that is some major passive aggressiveness in that article, and I can't think why a label source would say that about an artist, unless the artist had been scooped away by another label. (No actual evidence for this wild ass theory. I'm simply casting about.)

If RCA let go of him, and he wasn't picked up by another major label, imagine how much we would pour into his kickstarter! peace&love ETA - Avari, a major label would not scoop away an artist signed to another label. RCA is just leaking some crap, but who knows why. Q3, can you find out anything about this?

IMO doing a covers album is the end of the road as only "one's own music" is valued - I learned this the hard way. Singing is not a valued commodity.
