shirley halperin apparently does have connections (so I have read) but how sad/bad to read that there was no internal support for TP from RCA- is that why they blew the promotion? I worry about the fit of Adam w/ RCA. is this why they let him be exec producer - so he could be blamed for the poorer sales, that is happening for most singers right now. except for those at the very top with lots of advertising funds. Somehow I can't see Adam doing covers but maybe some new Queen songs fit in there somehow. He seems to be on the fringe of a huge hit at times, ie working w/ Pharrel and Nile (Shady), and other times ahead of the curve. Timing has a lot to do with it.

Well i do think Adam's sound was ahead of the curve, could see them not knowing what to do with it since they selected BTIKM. That style is more what they had in mind. They are giving him the opportunity for another album though so they see something in him
