Adam is a smart man. He has a good team. All will be well. Excited to hear what that is! Up until this point I always thought he had a good team, including his management, his PR and his label. They all seemed to be pulling in the same direction, and they believed in him. Having a “label source” tell Shirley H that the label never really bought into Trespassing and the only album they trust Adam to make at this point is a cover album where they make all creative decisions…well, that destroys my faith that he has a good team working for him at the record label. (I don’t know how labels work, I’m making the assumption that adam-the-artist is an account assigned to different people at RCA, all of whom manage different things, and all of whom probably have multiple artist accounts to manage. ) That statement is the only thing I’m upset about, btw. I don’t care about rumors, I don’t care what path adam chooses to follow, I know he will carve out a successful niche for himself no matter what. and I’ll be his fan no matter what. (And FWIW, I do think something good is in the works. He’s just been so damn happy lately!!!) I’m just heartbroken and sick to my stomach that his label doesn’t believe in him. I feel betrayed by them, they did such a good job of acting like they really believed in him. That’s all. So I hope so much that that one statement is garbage, made up, garbled, lost in translation, ANYTHING but true. What the hell is wrong with me? I’ve honestly never, ever, ever been so affected by anything in Adam’s life. I love him, but my happiness hasn’t been tied to his successes or failures; I’ve never been so consumed with dread for anything related to Adam (except for the morning after the AMA performance, lol. But that’s the last time I really angsted about anything because he survived and thrived after that.) I blame the mustache. It’s affecting my emotional reaction to things! ;-) I deserve all the eye-rolling you can throw at me! |

That tweet had nothing to do with music. A few months ago, Adam and Markus Molinari were walking through a parking garage and the paparazzi were trying to take photos. For some reason, Adam wasn't in the mood to be photographed, so he held a blue jacket in front of his face. I can't find the link right now, but I remember seeing the photos posted on one of the gossip websites. Several people (including Eber) tweeted about Adam covering his face -- the photos were kind of funny. So, that is where the "I love covers" tweet came from -- just a sarcastic reference to annoying paps.  Clue from restless. From iridium: Thanks, Wal. The answer was on page one. That's what I get for reading the thread backwards. Lol. ETA: And now I've screwed up the quote boxes and can't figure out how to fix it. Urgh. |

As far as I know, the word fuck IS acceptable here. I couldn't be a Adam fan, if I truly found the word unacceptable. Adam says fuck, sings fuck, and even signs fuck. How about calling someone names? |

So much spec. But, this was an article meant to stir people up. And Shirley has been in the Idol bubble long enough to know exactly what the response would be. Who knows, maybe it was someone on Adam's team (not his label team) wanting this information out. Maybe someone thought RCA needed a wake-up call. IMO.. Idol has been so quite now.. no judges speculations anymore.. so Shirley doesn't have anything to write lately... soooooooo She speculated on Adam's 3rd album based on that At&t show and what's better than to annoy us, the glamberts??? It's like you try to wake up a sleeping tiger... RAAWWRRR.. |
