I like Joan's humor...when it's directed at anyone but Adam. Srsly, I think she's funny. Hey I used to love Don Rickles! The only thing that irritates me about that show is how the others kiss up to her even when she's completely off base. Like with that stupid WOMAN comment. The Perez interview was good & I didn't notice any odd body language. Perez is a friend of Adam's remember, so I doubt he finds him "creepy" as we I do. I was waiting for an opportunity to use that strike through! Yay!I'm finally over my post-Grammy funk. It's fun to see Adam getting so much publicity for his hotness. More than some of the winners. Love it!

Can Joan Rivers ever give a compliment when it's well deserved.I love her and even watched the film made about her life, which was fascinating, but come on Adam looked like a gorgeous MAN. No. On this show Joan is not about critiquing fashion or even discussing it. Joan is about getting cheap laughs and being a caricature of Joan Rivers. She is there to be the star of the show and that's about it. I think it went very well. I am not surprised at all that Kelly loved Adam's style and recounted the positive ways in which way people were reacting to him, or that his hotness whomped her in the face. I fell in love with her on Dancing With the Stars- she was just so genuine and radiated joy.

I just watched the talk with Perez and was surprised how much I liked it. I'm still a bit cautious towards Perez (and WHY was he wearing that pink thingy?), but he let Adam talk and Adam looked and sounded great, so all is good with me. Hope he'll post part 2 soon *greedy me* ;D

I would like to comment on the tweets last night. The one that struck me was Gwyneth Paltrow. I have to totally agree with Adam. What the hell was she doing there. Gwyneth is not a recording artist, she is not nominated. Her profession has been actress who happened to sing in a movie and did a cameo in Glee. Lots of cred. : ::)Adam as a grammy nominee had no opportunity to be on that stage, nor did he have the opportunity to present. The Grammy's should be for those in the music industry. There have been icons who have never received a grammy nor ever performed on that grammy stage. I have to agree with Adam, it a WTF moment. I found his tweets refreshing. I don't think he was hangover or drunk tweeting and in not in any way disparaging toward the poor Biebs, who was licking his wounds. Sorry, that kid is laughing his whole way to the bank. Actually I think Adam knew what he was doing and diverting the hate being perpetrated by this ridiculous tweens toward Esperanza. Now there is a lady who didn't deserve the hate shoved her way. I admire Adam - he is such a gentleman and his brain is fully engaged.

OMG! The radio station I listen to in the morning (Y98 STL), did a mashup of Born this Way and Express Yourself. They adjusted so that the beat was the same, and just laid them over each other. Same song with alternating backups. ;D ;D Hi! Shadow!! So good to see you posting. Gotta go to the eye doctor....see everybody later!

Sorta off topic, but we have mentioned the Biebs huge fan base & millions of twitter followers.... I've asked this elsewhere, but didn't get much response - maybe Adamtopians can explain this to me?
Is Bieber's fanbase SOLELY very, very young girls? My 6th grade son says that NO ONE in his class (31 kids) likes Bieber. The ONE girl who did last year now thinks he is "stupid" (yes, that is a direct quote - I have no clue what is stupid about him now). On Friday, we went to the movies to see Gnomio & Juliet - there was a sectioned off area for the Bieber movie and it was 100% little girls & moms. The girls seemed to be about 8-10, maybe 1 or 2 of them were 11 or 12, certainly none older than that. The theater was having some sort of event for the movie and were doing quiz questions to win t-shirts or posters or something. If that is his entire fanbase, how the heck is he as big as he is?

Same song with alternating backups. ;D ;D I heard that this morning in Ohio. If George Harrison had to pay the Chiffons for the melody line in "My Sweet Lord" (taken subconsciously from "He's So Fine") and Led Zeppelin paid Willie Dixon for inspiring "Whole Lotta Love". I think Madonna has a good case against Gaga is she wanted to push it. Can't imagine she will but where were UMG/Interscope's lawyers. It is so obvious, and such a prominent release, they had to know it would be an issue. Lady Gaga is certainly not out of ideas. And this is the second Madonna clone song (Alejandro). I am starting to think she did this on purpose to create a controversy -- and to claim the title of new Madonna. Just doesn't seem like an accident to me.

Even though Joan Rivers bugs the hell out of me I'm posting this again because I am addicted to Kelly Osbourne's statement: "When he hit the carpet, it was, like, Chinese whispers went down and, 'Adam Lambert looks so hot. Adam Lambert looks sooo hot.' And he walked past me and I went, wow. You really DO look hot tonight. He-- he owned it." Just the thought of the excitement level shooting up when Adam "hits the carpet"... the awed and admiring whispers... the onlookers and stars and media all fluttery and paying homage to Adam's undeniable charisma and power--- it gives me goosebumps. Like I said, I am addicted. I can't get enough of the adoration-- of HIM. Oh and, what the hell are Chinese whispers? I thought Joan was pretty funny in this...it is her shtick, and I believe she is pretty popular in the gay community. I would not see Adam offended by this, but would laugh at it.
