Sorta off topic, but we have mentioned the Biebs huge fan base & millions of twitter followers.... I've asked this elsewhere, but didn't get much response - maybe Adamtopians can explain this to me? Is Bieber's fanbase SOLELY very, very young girls? My 6th grade son says that NO ONE in his class (31 kids) likes Bieber. The ONE girl who did last year now thinks he is "stupid" (yes, that is a direct quote - I have no clue what is stupid about him now). On Friday, we went to the movies to see Gnomio & Juliet - there was a sectioned off area for the Bieber movie and it was 100% little girls & moms. The girls seemed to be about 8-10, maybe 1 or 2 of them were 11 or 12, certainly none older than that. The theater was having some sort of event for the movie and were doing quiz questions to win t-shirts or posters or something. If that is his entire fanbase, how the heck is he as big as he is? IMO and i dont know nothing about it, that is EXACTLY why he is as big as he is. Parents go to the concerts and pay to please their children first and then buy things for themselves. I did the same thing, even when i absolutely hated the pokemons i bought everything there was to please my son. This is a very simple explanation i'm sure there a lot of people who can analyze it much much better than i can.And companies know this.Look how many million of dollars are spent on toys and Barbies and Kens.IMO its the same thing.

If Gaga did this on purpose to create controversy or to try to be the "new" Madonna, she isn't as intelligent as I thought she was. It isn't just us "older" folks who know Madge's songs inside & out - the 20-somethings my husband works with are REALLY into 80's music and know all of these songs.
I don't know for sure about those in their 30's, but I would expect they are also familiar with Madonna's songs since they would have still been playing somewhat on the radio into the 90's. The only fans that are only going to know Madonna from Glee are the Teens and younger.
Those who know that Gaga is "stealing" from Madge are not going to think of her as a legend and the "new" Madonna. If only the Teens/tweens think she is amazing, she is no better than Bieber. I think her ego is going to destroy her chances of truly being a music legend. Had she stuck with her OWN art and her own music, she would have had a chance to reach that level. (and, no, declaring yourself a genius and legend does not make it true!)

alreference The Librarian Norwich Bulletin: Adam Lambert: Hot at the Grammy's. bit.ly/f6EDuf #♒♎♈ 3 hours ago "My favorite dressed male of the night however was Adam Lambert (pic from OMG). I always love his slick black hair and choice of accessories. He always gets his jewelry right with just the right amount of bling. Lastnight's ensemble of the jet black suit he wore looked incredible on him. I was happy to see him out and looking hot, he's always been my favorite idol." Woa, and all except one are bids for next year's events. Someone bid 13,000 for 2 tickets to next year's Grammy show! Jeff Beck's signed guitar is the only celebrity item higher than Adam's.

According to @stylishgeorge at E! Adam was shown with the Divas, not meant to be specific to women....insert eyeroll. Poor Adam, he really had no idea how much he was about to attempt to change. I fucking love this man. IMO there were no other men on the Red Carpet who were anywhere near as gorgeous as Adam! So who else could they compare him with? We saw the results of Adam vs. Adam - OUR Adam had over 98% of the votes!

Wow - I'm chatty this morning. Notice that the Jeff Beck guitar is only higher because that is the starting bid price - there are 0 bids so far. The $7,000 VIP for next year's Grammys is the only actually bid on item that is higher than Adam's right now.

The cover for "Sleepwalker" is great - love that picture! If someone is interested to get this CD please send me a PM, I can make an order at Amazon and send them to you! I am surprised how interesting this interview with Perez is. Perez asked some really good questions and then let him talk, I liked especially the comments concerning the cover of FYE and of course the new album. Agree with Adams Grammy twitter - but what a pity he was not able to watch Mick Jagger! Would have loved to hear his comments! IMO his comments were well-conceived - mentioning the controversy with GAGA but nevertheless supports her (I heard/read she sent him also a supportive tweet after the AMAs??), and then giving a honest opinion without really dissing someone - and to avoid being called a hypocrite he made a bit fun of himself....and from what I have seen so far no riot from the Bieber fans, Adam gained again lots of new followers....

... I found his tweets refreshing. I don't think he was hangover or drunk tweeting ... I read a lot of comments about how he drunk-tweeted and I *so* agree with you because to me those tweets didn't read as drunk AT ALL. They came over as totally Adam, honest, intelligent and with that charming humorous self-mocking at the end. Those tweets go to my favourites!!
