Is Glee still an popular series? ?? viewership? how many millions? singing covers??? Adam will be singing his own covers!!!!! this is FABULOUS  If he is a series regular, which I hope, he will be singing lots of covers if other people's music - just the way the show works. If he has a one or two time guest spot as himself, then more likely he will cover his own music. JUST THRILLED HE IS ON ,ADAM TRIED OUT FOR GLEE BEFORE HE BECAME FAMOUS. |

No word yet on whether his role will be as a series regular, in a recurring capacity, or as a guest star. In joining GLEE, Lambert follows in American Idol winner Jessica Sanchez's footsteps. Sanchez played a recurring role last season as a singer for a rival school group. FOX's Glee will also feature four new recurring characters this season, including at least three new female recurring characters: "African-American McKinley newbie Ruby, and twentysomethings Julie and Ryan." The fourth character is reportedly a male named Henry, but there are no details about him at this time. Recently it was reported that Matthew Morrison, Chord Overstreet, Darren Criss, Lea Michele and Jenna Ushkowitz will all appear as series regulars while Jayma Mays and Dot Marie Jones are expected to make cameo appearances during the season. The show's Melissa Benoist (Marley), Jacob Artist (Jake), Becca Tobin (Kitty), Blake Jenner (Ryder) and Alex Newell (Unique) have been promoted to series regulars, while series staples Heather Morris, Amber Riley, Mark Salling, and Harry Shum, Jr. will not return as regulars for the fifth season. Dianna Agron will also depart the series, except for an occasional guest appearance.

As would I. As far back as Orange County fair I also noticed something that I thought was out of the ordinary. Not a marketing major but I could see the diversity, but something else was happening. Young People, those even under 20 would come up to me to start a conversation about Adam. (my black and yellow seemed to be the giveaway) They wanted history, what I thought about his music, where they could see him more and on and on. In my experience this happens very infrequently and lord help that what I think is cool they would also like. In fact I think this has only happened to me at Adam concerts and Burning Man. Most delightful thing I saw at Del Mar was a Grandmother with her teen something Granddaughter, both equally excited about seeing Adam!! So Elvis had this Gradmother to Granddaughter "problem" also. How did they market him? Adam's fanbase is even more diverse when you add in the LGBT population. But what do all his fans have in common? 1. They all think he has the best voice out there today. 2. They all think he is the best live performer out there today. 3. They all think he is super nice. 4. They all think he is super sexy. That's 4 things that appeal to many different demographics! Can he not be marketed based on those qualities?

5. They are committed to treating people equally (unless an Adam M&G is involved.
6. The question authority in positive ways.
7. They believe in creative freedom and self-determination.
8. And they like to dance!
