There was a post up thread asking how this compares to Idol judge slot. I think it depends on what the role is -- and how big a role he gets. If Adam gets a recurring guest spot that includes performances, it could be better than Idol. The Glee ratings are lower than Idol but the viewers seem to be heavy music buyers and the demos are good for Adam. From a career standpoint I think it could be better than going back to Idol. I wonder if he will be in the Ohio (High School) or in the NY (Broadway) part of Glee. (Both are filmed in LA because nothing ever really happens in Ohio.) ![]() Of course it all depends on how big the role is and how often we get to see Adam on our TV. Hopefully being a member of the cast means more than just a guest starring role. If so, I like this much better than a judging role on AI. A judging role on AI would be great for keeping Adam in the public eye. However, at this point the AI judging role is now known to be a way for singers to revive their careers. IMO, their was a definite possibility of negative backlash if Adam became a judge. For some, Adam as an AI judge would be seen as an obvious ploy to revive a lagging career. A role in a television series seems to be more a forward move than a move of desperation. YMMV. |

Seriously, I just went to twitter and scrolled back for 1 hr., and that's all I got !! That's how many tweets that have been made since this news came out!!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOTTTTTTTTTT!!!
