The talented showman, who was the runner-up on American Idol Season 8, is simply smouldering with charisma the more he performs. But how is he in a television series? According to Hypable, Glee Season 5 producer Ryan Murphy has announced today that Lambert has been added to the cast of Glee Season 5. The announcement was made via Murphy's Twitter account: Since leaving American Idol, the fan favourite Lambert's stardom has grown with his powerful vocals, daring performances, and memorable visual style. He has released several chart-topping albums with hits such as For Your Entertainment, Mad World and Trespassing. There is no news as of yet what role Lambert will have on the show. Will he be a teacher, or a student? How will he interact with an already dynamic cast, as least where it comes to returning cast members? One thing that raises no doubt is that Lambert's natural flair and showmanship will improve an already flamboyant show when Glee Season 5 premieres in the US later this year. |

The singer himself followed up by saying: "I'm so excited!!  " There is no news yet on the role that Adam will take, or even whether he'll be a permanent member of the cast or just a guest. Previous A-List guests have been Gwyneth Paltrow and Kate Hudson. Lambert's new appointmeny to the show comes after it was announced that cast members Heather Morris, Amber Riley, Mark Salling and Harry Shum, Jr will not be returning to the show.
