I haven't watched Glee but I've seen some on Twitter who are familiar with it say that it's not known for it's acting. Someone even said it's probably the most poorly written and acted show on TV. So I'm not worried about his acting. I'm thinking this was probably a good place to start. I think he probably has a coach and he'll do fine.

Otherwise, what else am I going to do this week-end ... Entertain my houseguests? You could go throw stuff at the Capitol building! Yes, but they are taking away my favorite projectiles - Texas Statehouse Confiscating Tampons and Pads as Senate Debate Beginstinyurl.com/kcs3m2p

Adam's time on Glee will depend on how well he can connect with Glee's viewing audience via a TV screen. He is an incredible vocalist and has had plenty of stage experiences; however, Glee is not live theater nor a singing competition. He needs to connect with the viewers through 'credible' screen acting. Although Glee is considered a comedy, it has its dramas. Since he is not yet a proven screen actor, I do not believe he will get a complicated storyline. This will limit his screen time. Not a bad thing. It will let him grow and mature as an actor. Depending on how well he will be received by the Glee TV viewing audience (not just by his current music fans) and how well his storyline is written,, his part on the show might be expanded or not. I do not think he is joining the cast as a regular. Recurring, yes. How long?... depends on the above. Someone mentioned an acting coach earlier? I suspect you may be right. I hope he has been working on his acting.

I came across this on weibo just now --- a contestant named Song Wei singing "Whole Lotta Love" Adam style on a singing competition show similar to our "Supernova" (ya know that one with Tommy Lee in search of the next Rock Star). Alidol might have already tweeted out, here is the link if anyone is interested: v.youku.com/v_show/id_XNTgyMjI5MzA0.html

I don't know about the worst acted show on TV, lol, but, yeah, most of the Glee actors are mediocre at best. And it doesn't matter one bit. The musical numbers are the heart of the show. Adam will be fine. He was great on Divas and has years of musical theater training. PLL was awkward but that was mostly because of the fangs(!)and the lines he was given were pretty clumsy, IMO. And the only people I saw criticize that acting were stans. The PLL viewers seemed to love him. He got lots of positive comments about that. I am so excited to see and hear Adam on TV on a regular basis! I also think his story arc has already been determined and not necessarily based on Glee fan reaction. JMHO. Personally, I think they are going to LOVE him

I guess for press/media.. Adam & Glee are match made in heaven, that's why they're all so excited and tons of them don't want to miss to cover this story. See that Ryan Murphy?? You should've invited him a long time ago. They've been waiting for this moment to happen. Now you just need to give him the right role...
NOW.. What if Adam get a role as a straight guy, gorgeous, a singer, smart and very funny .. a guy with whom Rachel get crush on... I mean just coz he's gay and proud of it doesn't mean they have to give him a gay guy role.. I mean if he wants to spread his wings to acting he shouldn't be stuck to just one role as gay guy. Just look at NPH.. or Matt Bomer.
