Oh, and every artist Adam has pimped for the past 1 1/2 months is on an Interscope label.  Except that video he did the other day about "Strong Love" and that guy has no label. |

OK Here is something else I am tripping out on. I now am thinking about that fierce SSB sung in NY in the middle of all this. He was so empathic, so "just listen to this bitches", I wonder if this was as much his anthem. He was (subconsciously) singing about his own declaration of independence. WAAAAY past my bedtime. I am delusional. So happy to know in advance you all understand the nature of this particular obsession. It was sung with the same intensity as his Zodiac "A Change Is Gonna Come." Yes!! Thank you for not thinking I am totally nuts! Wow. If Adam keeps this up I will have my next level posting star in no time! |

A little late to the news desk regarding another "news cycle" headline about leaving RCA. So proud Adam stays true to himself and his vision as an artist. Glad he has left RCA. Trespassing had so many great songs and potential for radio play (Cuckoo, Shady, Kick-In as examples) but RCA screwed that up. He had no US tour support which affirms RCA basically has no idea how to OR did not care to support Trespassing and Adam as an artist.
Adam has lots of options. He will have a steady paycheck from Glee and will have music on iTunes from Glee performances. His fan base will grow. He will have a new label that he can work with to promote his vision. He will expand his global influence. He will have new music out - Glad I like roller-coasters, especially the ones that go like a bat out of hell with lots of inverted rolls.

Adam posted a "Shhhhhhh" photo on his personal facebook, the same day he followed Alex on Twitter! There are 6 of us that have been unraveling these clues. Myself, susie, chunkey, kms, islandgirl, and baking for fun. Ohh.. He really wanted to give us the news.. but he couldn't so he did it in bit and peaces.. that Gum, Listerine & Eggs... then this picture... LOL.. ETA: I'm sure the working relationship between Adam & RCA finalized when he spent that week and more in NY. Didn't some people mention that he looks so happy??? (Well.. beside the Glee project off course). But I guess they cannot announce it yet. Since it's obvious that RCA cannot or don't want to support Adam's vision anymore, why do they have to force the work relationship... So I'm also thinking that DMG negotiated for Adam and ask RCA to let Adam walks away, the same way they did for Katy Perry. So Adam can work with another label that really wanted to support his vision. No, before that. there was a 3 hour tele conferencing meeting on 6/11. All this had to happen before then. |

Now I think the tweet of Adam with jacket over his head and saying something like "I love covers, right Molinari" was a snarky reference to RCA's push. ILH!

OMG I AM SO VERY VERY HAPPY ABOUT THIS NEWS!!!!
RL has totally consumed me for months and I haven't had time to do much except for random tweets (which is just not adequate to express my joy right now) but as thrilled as I was about Glee,
THIS IS THE BIG NEWS I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR SINCE THE END OF 2011!!
Every time Robininny and I talk, this comes up...and I always say "I'm just waiting for the day. It'll come. Everything will be better." WELL THE DAY IS HERE!

I have to go back in the thread now to read all the comments since the news broke here (how I love that ritual!) I have all sorts of ~thoughts about when this started and how it all came about, but the fact is, I don't feel the need to analyze it...and I have ZERO worries about a new label...
I just want to SAVOR THE NEWS AND LOOK FORWARD TO THE FUTURE! I'll be at Paso Robles one week from tonight, and I tweeted Adam to please play #FREEBERT!
