Yes BUT... From Queen's Official Facebook and Twitter: I think the QUEEN Facebook and Twitter picked up the subhead in the press release. If that means multiple lead singers, I would be very surprised. Everything from IHR says Queen + Adam. |

I said yesterday that Queen might be doing this to promote a MJ/Freddie track released to radio as a single. So could the 'special guests' be a hologram of Freddie and MJ? There was such a negative response to the idea of a hologram of Freddie a couple years ago that I doubt it. I think Brian said they thought about it but scrapped it after the Tupak concert. They use video of Freddie and that is possible. It was beautifully done in the past included with QUEENBert. |

I don't think they will do anything with the Freddie hologram... Freddie during BoRap would be all I would expect again.
As for the official FB and Twitter....I could be absolutely wrong but I think they are supplied their own releases from Queen Productions. I don't think it's multiple lead singers though. I think it's Queen + Adam Lambert as the show but there will be special guests during that. As in QAL would be 3/4 or more of the set but maybe a song or two with foo fighters/muse/elton/katy perry or whatever...

While I'm REALLY glad that QAL is apeparing on that show, I really hope that QAL plays somewhere other than just that show. I just can't handle that kind of event right now and I'd dearly love to see them in concert! So I'm keeping my fingers crossed that more dates will come!

That is easy. I expect that it will be just QAL but let me hope that we finally get Adam+Katy Perry. With or without QUEEN. Since they have the same management, it seems possible. And while I love QUEEN, I also would like to see Adam with a current pop artist. |

Does it seem to anyone else that Adam has just recently jumped up in superstar status to a new level? Things feel different in the media coverage. More respect, less snark. An underlying assumption that he is a star who doesn't need to be explained, because everyone knows him. An established artist. And almost universally liked in the media. RCA, take that! Absolutely agree. All good leading up to a very happy label announcement. Whoever he did or will sign with has got pure gold and I hope to hell they know it and give it all that got. |

Heavens...why would we worry about it being an hour set....GNT set was only an hour!! I don't think anyone's worried about the set length . It's a festival. If you are thinking of coming from the UK, it's worth considering the length of the set! LOL.!! However an hour would be great. But seems there may be a Queenbert in London again....I'm going to put all my hopes on that. |

On another topic, did anyone else find it interesting that they had the trio of Ryan, Miley, and Keith Urban together to make the announcement on GMA? I think we just saw two of the new Idol judges together for the first time. I think Adam would be a great fit... I feel the same way.. would be good to have Miley on ,she's young and authentic.. And I think she likes Adam. I thought from the very beginning it was going to be a judge announcement but I understood Fox would want to do that on their network. I do think this is not a coincidence and I think those three would make a totally awesome panel |
