No I doubt they will play anything from QAL 2012 on US Radio. Some Classic Rock stations might play the Queen studio recordings in advance. *** adamfanem - I think Adam's career has moved up to a new level. Partly because of DMG, and mostly because he is so talented and so charming/nice. And because he has gotten support from many powerful and influential people -- Elton, Brian and Roger, Nile, Pharrel, and so on.... One thing he got from his RCA time, was the chance to work with a who's who of talent. That is priceless!! ***
Idol judges -- Miley, Keith and Adam does not make sense to me. Seems to risky for a show with over 25% non-white viewers. I do not think they will not have a judging panel with no African American and no Latino/Latina. Not happening in 2014 US.My thoughts exactly. IMO if Keith stays there is no chance for another white male on that panel. But even if Keith leaves I am not feeling Adam there at all... not with the new mgmt ... I am thinking they may go with a 4 person panel (follow The Voice's successful format). That would leave room for a female R&B artist, which would make sense---J. Hudson, maybe? All bases would be covered. And, a new label would love this gig, I imagine. It is still a pretty amazing vehicle for promoting new music (well, if you're a judge it is ) |

Sounds like he is not really busy these days.  ======== Back to news of the day: I think what really made Queen sign up for a radio event like this, is exactly that it is not only a radio event. It will be on TV, there will be streams, it will be available online, post the concert. That gives it a totally different kind of reach. And it will be a test for how much interest Queen + AL can generate in media and public. They are too busy and have too many project going on each, to be putting another mini tour together this year, but I think they are testing the terrain. Seems like a smart move to me. ============= Miley Cirus: Based on her wardrobe choices, I suspect she has Adam on her mind a lot more than we know, lol. Not only during GMA interview. And does it look like she has developed a great rapport with Ryan? Their body language is telling, they have more going on than this interview lets on. I suspect idol too, tbh. Not sure about either Adam or Keith, based on reading tea leaves. And given all that has happened for Adam, and has not happened for idol, as far as I can tell, idol may be a good thing to not have right now. And talking about trendseting. We should send those Adam in roman sandels pictures around everywhere. If you ask me, these look so great, that this could really catch on. I want the market to associate them with Adam. Hope the fashion shows pick that one up and discuss it. Don't care about snark, these shoes are way cool and I want a pair. Do we know already where he got those? Probably not affordable, but would love to know anyhow. They are great! |

I am so excited....feels like it did when I booked Nokia...ended up trading one of them for a Music Box, and met Winks and had the best time EVAH!!! No tickets yet but have my room so just sitting on a holding pattern till tickets come available....fingers toes and everything that will cross, are crossed!!! I've got my room too mszueeeee!!! I see a reunion in the works. In fact... I feel a big Atop meet-up in the works.  |
