If he doesn't get an Idol judge gig I will eat that tin hat, LOL Just too many clues now. And Idol, Idol Concert promo etc is USING him a lot lately. Either he is getting a judge or mentor gig, or they better be paying him for the amount/way they are using his picture and name for promo:-) This is SO funny, hope not posted yet. I am also hoping someone that has been to the IH festival before can give us who are trying for the first time some tips on getting tickets. From what I have heard, enter every radio contest the you qualify for. Some are only local broadcast area. Thousand of tickets are used for promo. Beyond that it is Ticketbastard so be ready to click and pray!! Or really PAY. ** On the hotel question -- People are reserving at the MGM Grand but it is expensive. There are other hotels on the Strip that are close and nicer for the $$$. I have not shopped for hotels yet but looked at MGM Grand and was not amused.
The MGM Grand is not a good deal if you book direct, but there are deals thru third parties. I just get a great deal via Booking.com All I need now is a ticket. I got a great rate $99 a night at Hotel.com for 2 queens at Excalibur which is an 8 minute walk (less than 1/2 mile) fully refundable until Sept 17 |
