It's already been at least partially cast. Sacha Baron Cohen is playing Freddie. It was from his pushing that the project has gotten this far...

Brian did an interview with Austrian newspaper "Kronen Zeitung" to support his Klagenfurt concert together with Kerry.

- they are planning a few TV-shows, one in Las vegas, one in London, they want to perform with other artists and hope that also Adam Lambert will be on board again
- Queen album: he is not sure if to make a Queen album without Freddie would be a Queen album; they work on old unreleased stuff with Freddie (from time to time they find some tracks) incl. the M. Jackson tracks

The only things I can find in Vegas are IHR concert which has not been televised and the Billboard Awards next MAY.

I think it is IHR. When Brian says TV show he doesn't usually mean an episodic tv show. He might mean something like an AI type of show but generally a festival or awards show makes more sense. Looking at all the comments/translations I'm not certain that the "other" artists thing was actually connected to the TV show thing. I think that was more of a vague futuristic thing. I think the TV show or at least one of them involved just Adam (perhaps if it is IHR with someone else on the bill...)
IF IHR w/Queen & Adam is true, is there any possibility that they might include an original song of Adam's in their set? Seems farfetched, but I'm wondering what the actual point of this appearance would be if not.
I mean of course it will bring so much pleasure to us Adam fans and many Queen fans, but without a single to push or any kind of tour to promote, why do something radio related? To help Adam earn goodwill with radio stations?
I'm 99% sure it would be no Adam material again for something like this...And I don't think this as much as Adam looking to do something radio related....I think it might be just a good way for Queen to perform and for Adam to reprise one of his favorite things he ever did. Sometimes the answer is simpler than we think
Stepping out of my comfort zone a bit here but there's a big difference between recording an album of covers as your third album moving forward and singing at a big music festival with one of the most legendary bands there ever was...The album of covers is not something Adam wants to do. Singing in front of a worldwide television audience with a legendary band? That is probably far more appealing to him...
So.. would it be totally too far fetched that Queen would back Adam's new music? I mean they like the boy and with all that is happening why not.
Anything is possible but again I HIGHLY doubt it.
Re translation: I used Google translate to give me a base translation. If the text was in principle correct and understandable and only the word order was a bit off, I left it alone, to not waste a ton of time. But I fixed strange expressions as best I could. One or two are still strange, because they are strange even in the German original I am working from.
