I am glad Adam could squeeze in that he is writing like crazy new music and that Ryan picked up on it. I do not think Ryan would have asked him about it. I think Adam is finally getting that one needs to pimp themselves.
It is funny (haha) to me that he had nothing to say about new music for months and now we find out he has been "writing like crazy". Obviously it had to do with label issues. Yes, Adam daz hav dem secretz.

In my brain Adam creates an entirely new type of rock and roll that is so hook-y and that it gets played on pop stations and eventually puts an end to the current pop/lip syncing/bubble gum pop currently being lauded as good music. He spearheads an enormous Rock Revival and finally gets the recognition he deserves.
I dream big :D

Don't know where the EMA hosting came from but I'm sure you talented ninjas will let us know for sure! That would be freakin awesome. Just listened to the Seacrest interview and I liked how Adam took control at the end there and made sure to get in a comment about his music as Ryan started wrapping the interview up. I too liked that Ryan referred to him as a kid since that is an important demographic for anyone in the music industry.
Thanks for making it easy to give Titanium a few hits and to listen to the interview on Seacrest's website!

ladyoz, About the sandals, now I believe. There was an optical illusion problem - and too many things on my mind at the same time. bridget, You asked why would a label not be announced if he has it. They won't announce it when he has media attention for some other reasons. iHeart (and Glee) have their own schedule and those news are all over media right now and Adam gets exposure with those. Surely his people will want him to be on media next week too? They will announce it as soon as there is a break in other news - if the deal is made that is. Also I think that even if there were no other news they would have delayed the announcement a bit - if not for the basic reasons for continuing media exposure then for courtesy to RCA (ie take some time to 'find a new team' even if it's in place already). vbstar, I think Ryan's main target in the interview was iHeart concert with Queen background and not Adam news in general. I'm glad that Glee and new music got in there... All in all, great news day so far - and more to come. Unfortunately I have to go out and read all about it later.

Guys, Adam doesn't need to create some kind of "new rock & roll for radio." That's the beauty of it, rock is already re-emerging on top 40 radio. CHR is playing everyone from Imagine Dragons to Mumford and Sons and fun. Heck Phillip Phillips is rock and is getting played on my KISS station. Adam is smart. He sees this window of opportunity and he is going to take it.
Rock takes a lot of different forms, and FINALLY radio is embracing it.
Eta---Ryan calling Adam a "kid," is great news. Usually he picks on Adam's "geriatric" fanbase.
Everybody picking on Top 40 radio :( I think it is the best it's been in years. There is A LOT of good stuff being played, even on KISS, these days.

I find it strange, but from all the great news in the last week, the "revisiting rock-n-roll roots" is my highlight (very closely followed by dumping RCA and singing again with Queen). If anything he is writing is even remotely close to Runnin', I will be in heaven! Adam's so smart in promoting himself. Ryan's actually didn't ask and he's already at the end of his interview.. but Adam sneaks in that information .. LOL. When he needs to.. he really can promote himself and he does it adorably.
