I was kind of surprised to see how many tickets are available for Adams show on July 19. Not selling very well for such cheap tickets :( Adam's concert was added late and hence didn't get much publicity. For example, The Tribune, the main paper of SLO county, had a fair booklet included a couple of weeks ago which listed all the concerts with pictures and write ups, for the 19th it said to be announced. Also, another problem is that this area leans to country and old iconic groups. It is rural with a large amount of retired people. This coupled with being so close to San Diego in both time and location have undoubtedly hurt sales. As of this weekend it had sold about 1,500 tickets. It is a big venue and can accommodate 10k. I am hoping that lots of fair attenders will join us. In any case, my sister and I are both so looking forward to seeing Adam live for the first time. |

In my brain Adam creates an entirely new type of rock and roll that is so hook-y and that it gets played on pop stations and eventually puts an end to the current pop/lip syncing/bubble gum pop currently being lauded as good music. He spearheads an enormous Rock Revival and finally gets the recognition he deserves. I dream big :D I'm with you:) Adam went funky and it took the world, what, a year, to catch up? Now they know that Adam is never out of trend, he is always ahead of it, always bringing something new and fresh to the table. By the general vibe towards him these days, which is pretty frigging AWESOME!!!!, I'd say they have learned their lesson:) I'm so HAPPYHAPPYJOYJOY about the 'writing like crazy' bit and the rock and roll ' bit! And did you guys notice how Ryan was totally ready to end the interview after the Glee talk, but Adam continued talking, because he SO wanted to say this:))) To quote Ryan here, and that's something I thought would never happen, " I wake up excited, I go to bed excited, I'm really excited"  ) . That's how I feel these days. |

It actually seemed that Ryan was more respectful of Adam than in the past--he used to a be more condescending. No mention of the break with RCA. Wonder if that was off limits. Adam was there to promote Ryan Seacrest's IHR Music Festival. Ryan is not going to do anything that makes Adam look bad. But I think Ryan has usually be very supportive of Adam. |

The "Adam hosting the EMA's" rumor came from a poster over on MJ's six days ago- s/he has been uncannily accurate as to predicting events.

Can anyone tell me which Kickin' In performance was the best and closest to the album version? I recall there was one, but there's been so many performances of that song that I can't remember now.. Thanks!  I'm feeling a bit guilty because no one has answered you. I'm not ignoring you, but I have been looking at vids from last summer and I don't know what you want. I checked her tweets, it seems she is basing it on TODAY"S INTERVIEW where Adam mentioned QAL EMA performance and she somehow decided it is about hosting in 2013... IDK how she managed that, but it IS actually funny... |

A rumor that seems to have legs. Also, one of the strategies DMG used for Katy (before she was big.) It originated on a Queen site a few weeks ago and seems to have spread. |
