The EMA host slot makes tons of sense. With that photo, I am on board with this rumor.

. Hahaha...twitterverse is speculating this to be a hint at AMSTERDAM... so tullips, pot and red light references are now spoken for . What a fandom! What are the tullips & pot references? none yet, but IF they come...I am just covering all stereotypes re Amsterdam...

Regarding the prediction post from MJS, can someone just post it in the thread. Thanks. *** I just noticed something Adam said in the interview with Adam -- Adam said he had done 3 concerts in London with Queen that were 1-1/2 hour concert set and that the IHR Concert will be "us reprising the best moments of that set". So it sounds like it will be QAL like London concert but fewer songs. This is what I think: The London show had 3 major parts. The middle part included acoustic guitars, drum battles, Dragon Attack (B-side only fans knew) etc. And barely any Adam in it. So I suspect most of that would be dropped. Then there is the rock opening which may or may not be part of a radio festival (but I hope it would be) - UP and WWTLF will probably stay. In some versions of the show SBTL was also in the first part. And I love DSMN, but I am not sure it would be used. And then the 3rd part is pretty much what IHR needs - the 80s Queen songs, AOBTD, Radio GaGa, IWTBF etc. And of course TSMGO, BoRap,WWRY+WATC. So I hope for all the London QAL highlights where Adam was involved, minus the filler and the more obscure songs. LONDON 3 SETLIST 01. Flash intro? 02. Seven Seas Of Rhye? 03. Keep Yourself Alive? 04. WWRY Fast? 05. Fat Bottom Girls 06. Don’t Stop Me Now - DSMN ? 07. Under Pressure - UP08. I Want It All? 09. Somebody To Love - SBTL10. Who Wants To Live Forever - WWTLF11. It’s A Kind Of Magic (Roger) 12. Days Of Our Lives (Roger) 13. You're My Best Friend 14. Love Of My Life (Brian) 15. ‘39 16. Dragon Attack 17. Drum Battle - Gtr Solo 18. I Want To Break Free - IWTBF19. Another One Bites The Dust - AOBTD20. Radio GaGa21. Crazy Little Thing Called Love 22. The Show Must Go On - TSMGO23. Bohemian Rhapsody - Bo Rap24. Tie Your Mother Down (Brian) 25. We Will Rock You - WWRY26. We Are The Champions - WATCI've gone over these songs more times than I can count, trying to put the Q-Adam concert playlists in order. I still can't remember the songs by just looking at those initials. Did I get all of the songs you think they'll probably include?

My exercise class used "Never Close our Eyes" today. I decided to try out a 5:15 am strength training class today. I am barely awake. I pick up the barbell and the music starts. What a surprise!!!! I got to do an endurance set of barbell rows to Adam's music. The only other times the gym has ever used his music was when they used "If I Had You" in a spin class.

I am trying to look at it through the eyes of Brian and Roger, or anyone responsible for setting up a festival appearance. Or putting together a Best Of Queen disk. What songs are absolutely Must Have? I think your highlights managed just that. This is probably the absolute minimum. At the 2011 EMAs where there was time for only a medley, they got 3 of them - TSMGO, WWRY, WARC, with a few beats of UP. So these 3 are absolutely guaranteed. I think WWTLF is also guaranteed being the best freaking thing on Earth when sung by AFL anyway. The rest may vary depending on how much time they get. I just cannot imagine flying Queen over to the US and asking them to do only 5 songs...
