Hey thanks for posting this! Not sure when it was compiled, but I don't see anything post 1992, GNR-November Rain There has been no good Rock and Roll (per RS) in 20 years? Well, Adam I guess it is time. I have really learned a lot about what Rock and Roll means. I am struggling to bring the term into 2013 though and where it fits on radio play. Rock vs Rock & Roll still confuses me. Thanks for playing Adamtopia  |

I do not know what he meant with the rock comment, but I think it means a move away from electronic dance music to non-electric dance music. And while I do not expect him to go all AC/DC -- if he left some of the electronic instruments and effects behind, I would be happy. LOL I think I'd pay good money to see Adam's take on "You shook me all night long" or "Back in Black"... but I digress. I would think the certainties on the Queenbert song list would be sports arena favorites We will rock you and We are the Champions; Wayne's World favorite Bohemian Rhapsody (and please get a mens choir in there and let Adam sing the damn song from end to end); Crazy Little Thing Called Love; and because it is so well known because of Bowie Under Pressure; Other than that toss a coin! #YMMV |

The pop group - which is comprised of the original Sugababes lineup; Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan and Siobhan Donaghy - caught up with the new "Glee" star while in the city to shoot the video for their single "Flatline" and he was full of praise for the "smart, real ladies". Adam wrote on Twitter: "@mksofficial I love u all! Such down to earth, smart, real ladies!! What a pleasure! "Oh and since I was kickin it w the OG Sugababes @mksofficial ... I wanted to letchoo LamBrits know how obsessed I am with @skins (sic)." The trio were equally happy to see Adam, and posted a picture on their Instagram page with the caption: "A perfect evening with the one and only adamlambert #MKSinLA (sic)." MKS were spotted filming the video for their single "Flatline" - which they wrote themselves - in various LA locations including Venice Beach on Tuesday (07.16.13). While Keisha previously admitted it was "weird" being back together with Siobhan and Mutya because she hadn"t seen them for so many years after the pair quit the Sugababes in 2001 and 2005 respectively, she has also called the reunion "amazing". She said: "For me personally, from the outside, I have never seen Mutya and Siobhan together since we were 15 or 16. To see them years on as grown women talking was just weird. Something I noticed from today's interview was that Adam mentioned when discussing the direction of music today "people are playing instruments again". I hope this means more instrument playing and alot less computer created sounds on A3! Thank you for pointing this out dancygeorgia. I wondered what Adam meant by that comment. I totally agree that the more organic sound of live instruments on A3 would be a welcome change from the processed sound so rampant in pop music which sometimes just sounds a little too "thick" for my ears. |

Rock and Roll roots ...? I used to think Rock and Roll was another term for a "decadent" lifestyle of sorts . It was something you embraced when you are unwilling to conform with current standards. I thought that with music , it was being fresh and irreverent. Raw and impudent . And I thought , techonology spawned the electro pop , synth , (whatever label this digital creativity in music is called) and just made music into niches and genres , and not a lifestyle. Adam saying he is revisiting his rock and roll roots ... i thought when he performed FYE at the AMA and kissed the guy, that was rock and roll..  |
