I took a trip to AO: 1) a "no info" post from RCA Flash-mod on the future of adamofficial.com here: www.adamofficial.com/us/node/22483112) a post by foxeylady on AO re the SF AI auditions tweet : "Adam's Idol tweet was a promo tweet to advertise the San Francisco auditions that happened today. Adam auditioned in San Francisco. Last week, just before the Salt Lake City auditions, one of the former contestants who auditioned there (Sorry, name escapes me) sent out a similar promo. Presumably, they were paid. I'm not saying it's not a clue. My fingers are crossed too. "

TO ME a simple explanation like this makes a lot of sense...so, I am taking it out of my own predictions ingredients list... 8-|I believe that Adam doing a lot with AI is part of DMG's promotional plan and nothing more. Adam's connections to the show and its audience is an big asset. In reverse, Adam is very popular, gets the most press and online buzz for what he does, and is a great association for the show in their attempt to expand/recapture their audience. A P2 tweet will not do much compared to an Adam tweet. P2 instagram about Red Rocks - 55 Retweets AL instagram of Riff - 494 Retweets AL Idol SF Tweet - 1,072 Retweets AL Queen Tweet - 1,474 Retweets AL Cory Tweet - 6,436 Retweets Not up to a Laday Gaga 20,000+ Retweet level but impressive. **** Looks to me like Adam and Idol is a matter of mutual benefit. What surprises me more is how little support Idol appears to get from some other prominent Idol alums. Idol is responsible for a lot of people doing well -- at least for a while. I just do not see a lot of gratitude. |

BUT . . . why is it just legal in England and Wales? And the article refers to them as the 16th and 17th "countries" to legalize same-sex marriage. I guess I'm dumb and thought they are part of UK/Great Britain. |
