I have been thinking of this very thing. Of all the songs in the world they have to choose from, why choose this one? It is not a current song(although as an Adam fan, I so love it). Is it just a coincidence? Either someone on that show is a BIG Glambert....or.....maybe this is all part of what I call "The Master Plan." People working behind the scenes to get Adam noticed and out there. I'm sure many people listening/watching that sequence on the show do not know Adam. But well placed music like that is a start. Then again, maybe I am reading too much into these coincidences and need a HUGE tin hat! This is a choice that is typically made by producers and directors. Then someone on that show is a BIG Glambert! |

Zowie, thanks for all the strange and wonderful welcomes! (You know the old joke: "Ours is a strange and wonderful relationship; you're strange and I'm wonderful.") Actually, I'll cop to being the strange one. My obsession with cephalopods and attraction to anything shiny is just the beginning of the weirdness. Was dubbed "The Squid" years ago by some colleagues for a number of reasons that we won't go into here, but I kinda dig being a Squidbert now. Now I have to play with all those sparkly, pretty, giffy things on my own posts.  |

My Glee storyline thoughts.... Adam is an online new age advice giver or pyschologist. Rachael is the first to contact him because of the breakup she had with her NYC boyfriend or because she is stressing over her new role on Broadway. Adam uses lines from different songs as part of his counseling which of course leads to their singing the full songs together. One of the roommates sees her computer/tablet with Adam on it and starts their own conversation with him. Again he connects with song. As the season progresses even the HS kids find out about him He could be their counselor over Finns passing too which would bring them all together in one song just like Rachael's audition did last year. Now the twist would be deciding how Adam is presented. Is he on video chat with them so that he looks the same to everyone or is he a words only type of guy and each time one of the kids sings with him he has a different personality or look? This type of storyline would make the acting part easier, his interactions would be expected to be "different". He might counsel one kid while acting as a cab driver, another as a Vegas entertainer, or a singing waiter. Since he would be in their imagination he could do anything and the makeup and costumes could be more than stage attire. His sexuality could be fluid since he would be whatever they wanted him to be. This would fit well with a one year or season arc and then if they/he wanted to continue longer he could come out from behind the internet as a real character. This is genius! Get thee to an agent! (Or tweet Shosh!)!!  ETA: And sometimes he would have a mustache, and sometimes he would be his unbelievably gorgeous clean shaven self...  And sometimes his hair would be dark, and sometimes.........  Ahh yes, you get it! Whatever happens I hope it's more than here's another teacher or so and so needs a love interest. They should use his versatility. |

My son has a new (past few months) girl friend -- very nice we really like her. But tonight I learned she is an ADAM FAN!! Now I know I love her! And that my son has excellent taste! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This is EXCELLENT NEWS about your son's gf!!! You have to keep her!!! |
