Since the news is rather sparse today, I wrote something about Adam's voice, trying to explain what is so special about it to folks who are not trained singers. First, I need to order minimum of 1,000 of those minions to assist in any one of my insane plans to rule the world. Second...a rock album??? If I believed in that stuff, I'd say my planets have aligned somehow or my fairy godfather has finally gotten around to granting my wish. Every rock song he's added during a concert, from "Purple Haze" to "Enter Sandman" to "Are you Gonna Go My Way," every rock song he performed on AI and the Season 8 AI Tour (especially WLL) will always be my favorites. I'm just not that big a fan of pop, I listen to Adam because his voice grabbed me by the neck and dragged me halfway through my house to the TV the night he performed WWFM on "So You Think You Can Dance" (I've never watched a single season of AI and have only watched the recordings of his performances). Halfway through WWFM I was mesmerized, I was hooked by that voice, and have been since. But I'm a child of the 60's, went to college in the early 70's, and, dammit, I love rock. And when Adam sings rock, it's like he's handed me a perfect present that I didn't even know I wanted. At first, I felt like Oliver Twist humbly asking for some more, please. Now the greedy little squid in me has tasted Adam's real, hot, rock & roll blood in the water and I'm twitching for a feeding frenzy. Less chumming now, Adam, you have me ready to swallow the hook. Less candy, more meat.

I would love to help with the whole playlist but unfortunately the only video, that is not blocked here, is the AT&T video. Sounds like VEVO is banned in Germany. Do you know why? I think it's not only VEVO but all studio versions or official music videos of songs. I don't know exactly why but I think it has to do with the German GEMA and copyright protection!
