juniemoon beat me to it. The project is more to fund the people to fly/ drive around the country to take pictures. It certainly creates a job for them!! The impact on the campaign....well.....my first reaction was...they could use the money for direct promotion rather than an expensive picture/add campaign. And, who do they take pictures of.... I guess targets of bullies are promoted in pictures...
.....could be it would give them strength .....could be ?....
I could go on and on re all the could be's.....but just deleted my philosophical outlook on this campaign.
Similar to Skylar....I do not get the empowerment/ change for the bullied, or the bullies, in this campaign.
I prefer to donate to direct impact causes for Adam....even if I have no clue where or how the money will be spent...ie I am not even American and I donated to GLAAD.
I MAY have donated if it was generically outlined, however, sorry in this case they were specific and the concept turned me off donating.
I cannot seem to buy into this F campaign, let alone for a specific initiative where donated money would seemingly be spent on hotels, travelling, meals and whatever else it takes to get pictures the US.

I like the idea behind the Fword anti bully campaign. I like that bullied people will gather in 40 cities across the USA and express their emotions in a way they deem acceptable, get their points across, get their stories told:) This time, the medium is the art of photography, and when I think of all the options they had, the one they chose is more than fine by me. Just checking in to say HI and I'm still here! What with RL and all that's been happening (or RUMORED to be happening LOL) with Adam, I haven't taken time to post. Also - I'm feeling somewhat lazy right now because it's 82 in my house because I have no AC! But I'm following everything. And I LOVE Time for Miracles and agree with Q3 that it was a mistake to connect it to that stupid movie. Which I of course sat through to the very end after every other person had left. ![]() |

The highest over 9,000 sold tickets for Rascal Flats..THIS IS NOT OK.
