It's like Christmas! *very happy smile* I know this has been commented on all day but I love these pictures and as much as I love the expanse of body revealed, my heart melts at that lovely sweet smile. How can someone so sweet and gentle transform into something so writhing and hot? What a knowledge of alchemy AFL possesses

Keith Urban - Miley Cyrus - Jennifer Hudson or Melinda Doolitle - Adam Lambert
I think these set of judge will be good.. good enough chemistry. They represent few genres, though Melinda sounds better than JHud.

It's like Christmas! *very happy smile* I know this has been commented on all day but I love these pictures and as much as I love the expanse of body revealed, my heart melts at that lovely sweet smile. How can someone so sweet and gentle transform into something so writhing and hot? What a knowledge of alchemy AFL possesses And I LOVE what he is wearing!! ETA: On the Idol judges -- I know nothing but I am certain that Melinda Doolittle will not be a judge. She is really likable and can sing but her career is undistinguished. She was never signed to a major label contract [her solo album was released by HiFi Recordings], she never had a hit, her book was not a best seller, and even her 19 Recordings Idol EP did not sell well. Just not happening. There are only a few Idols who are or who were big enough celebrities and successful enough to be considered as Idol judges. The two biggest Idol stars do not want to do it:Kelly - very successful as a recording artist, but was not a great judge on Duets and says she will not do it. I believe her. Carrie - is making too much money to even think about it but she says she would not be good at it. I believe her. Successful enough but never mentioned:Chris Daughtry - successful enough but never even gets mentioned. [Seems boring to me.] Too bad but looks like Keith Urban has the "Country" chair:Kellie Pickler - commercially successful and funny -- she would be great with Adam. Other Idol alums with significant sales that could be in a discussion but make no sense:Clay, Taylor - not relevant and seems to have a limited knowledge of current music, or a broad knowledge of pop/rock music. Jordin Sparks - she might be good, but rarely mentioned. And she is only 23. David Cook - almost off the radar now. He is articulate and knows music but he is just not a celebrity. Rubin - sweet but boring. Fantasia - no chance. Too many issues. Other Idol alums:Not successful enough to make the discussion: Lee and Kris. Too young - Archie, Scotty, P2. That leaves 2 possible Idol alums:JHud - she wants to be a judge and is Idol's only Oscar winner. Adam - he is perfect.

iHR booking QAL is probably because of Queen, and more about getting viewers for the TV Show and for buzz for the event than it is about radio. More interesting to me is Adam being booked on GLEE which is managed independently of FOX and Idol but has done a number of cross promotions with Idol over the years. If I was FOX and wanted to gauge reaction to Adam being a judge, this would be a good test. The audiences are different but similar, the press is the same. Response was extremely positive. The other thing on the + list for Adam is we now know the Idol producers have been tried to get a British gay judge to replace Simon in 2010. They failed and got Steven T. instead. I do not read much into Ryan mentioning that the Idol audiences will like the new panel, and that the new panel is special, or that they were making lots of changes because I think he would say that if the panel did not involve any past Idols or was filled with people we never heard of. The fact that Keith Urban is still in the mix makes me think he might have one of the judging slots for AI13. That leave 2 or 3 chairs. I am hoping they find someone more fun and likeable than JHud -- I am not a fan. I read a comment or tweet that JHud is what you would get if Mariah and Nicki had a child. Urgh! I just do not know what to think about Adam's chances but I do think he would be a great choice for a judge. And the response to the GLEE announcement indicates that the response to picking Adam would be very favorable. FOX should announce the judges on Aug 1 since that is their TV Critics Press Day. So we do not have long to wait. [They have to have something to convince critics that Idol is back.] JHud has a very powerful voice, but I remembered Simon said back then that she cannot control her voice. After that Idol Finale performance this year, she still cannot control her voice. JMHO off course.. LOL I thought so, too, until I saw her on "Smash." Dopey show, but some great singing and she was really good.

I thought J Hud was already signed. (Don't find her particularly endearing but I'm okay with her if Adam's on the panel).
Agree with Q3...Melinda Doolittle - no chance.
Kelly Pickler would be fun but doesn't sound like Keith is going anywhere - which is okay with me too.

How funny, I heard the same song in Von's last night, Ralph's last week, and Albertson's a couple of weeks ago. Must be some sort of "Supermarket Playlist" they all subscribe to.
