I just saw a vid of Beyonce on stage when her hair got caught in a fan!! You can tell someone is lip synching when nothing changes to the voice or song....she just sits there, stuck to a fan, "singing" away! lol.....good grief....

Haven't been here as much as I would have liked the last few days but just wanted to say how sorry I was to hear what happened with all the effort and excitement of trying for the LVegas Queenbert tickets. It's just not right. And I have to say that until yesterday I was feeling smugly grateful to know I would be at the London Queenbert during the iTunes festival (as yet not announced) in Sept. With no travel or accommodation costs I was determined to buy the best seat possible on the re-sale market.... ....until I found out that tickets cannot be bought but are 'won'....and very strict rules apply to ensure the tickets cannot be sold on or transferred. Apparently there are only 70 double tickets available to the public for each concert!! Ticket winners are simply drawn at random.....the odds are overwhelmingly bad. Disaster!....I never win anything! I'll try of course but not holding my breath.... Aw, good to see you! Hoping some of us get lucky at one of these two venues! |

iHR booking QAL is probably because of Queen, and more about getting viewers for the TV Show and for buzz for the event than it is about radio. More interesting to me is Adam being booked on GLEE which is managed independently of FOX and Idol but has done a number of cross promotions with Idol over the years. If I was FOX and wanted to gauge reaction to Adam being a judge, this would be a good test. The audiences are different but similar, the press is the same. Response was extremely positive. The other thing on the + list for Adam is we now know the Idol producers have been tried to get a British gay judge to replace Simon in 2010. They failed and got Steven T. instead. I do not read much into Ryan mentioning that the Idol audiences will like the new panel, and that the new panel is special, or that they were making lots of changes because I think he would say that if the panel did not involve any past Idols or was filled with people we never heard of. The fact that Keith Urban is still in the mix makes me think he might have one of the judging slots for AI13. That leave 2 or 3 chairs. I am hoping they find someone more fun and likeable than JHud -- I am not a fan. I read a comment or tweet that JHud is what you would get if Mariah and Nicki had a child. Urgh! I just do not know what to think about Adam's chances but I do think he would be a great choice for a judge. And the response to the GLEE announcement indicates that the response to picking Adam would be very favorable. FOX should announce the judges on Aug 1 since that is their TV Critics Press Day. So we do not have long to wait. [They have to have something to convince critics that Idol is back.] No one has called and asked for my opinion yet, but I still feel Melinda Doolittle would be a great judge. And if Keith Urban doesn't return, Kellie Pickler would be a good country choice. Melinda's critiques on Michael Slezak's show have been really good and she's fun to watch with Michael. Kellie's got a great personality,too. Think they would have fun with Adam...  And I'm hopeful that Adam will not have to wait till episode 4 to appear on Glee. Even if they have been working on the Beatles shows for years doesn't mean he can't be a part of it in some way. A little rewrite here and there - and he's in!  |

Ya know, is Fox powerful enough to put pressure on clear channel to add QAL to the IHeart concert? Because it just seems a little strange that they would all the sudden put Adam and Queen on the bill...not that they don't deserve to be there but radio has not done anything for Adam in the past. I just wonder why all of a sudden all these great opportunities open up for Adam. If Adam is a judge on Idol this year they will want him to be out in front of people as much as possible. And doesn't Idol lead into Glee on Thursday nights? And what if Adam is going to sign with Interscope? I am just feeling that all this stuff is intertwined. Should I take my meds now? LOL I was thinking about this. I checked their Wiki, It looks like Queen didn't have any concert or live performance since 2009 or after they are done with Paul Roger. I think someone on the Clear Channel or KISS radio (aka Seacrest) knew about Queen & Adam Lambert concert in 2012 and that their new frontman happens to be in the US, so they invited Queen to perform in the iHeartRadio concert. |

After that Idol Finale performance this year, she still cannot control her voice. JMHO off course.. LOL |
