Been gone a week; coming back to the news that 'nothing' is happening.
True - no new news; nothing more than spicy clues for the mashed potatoes we keep mixing . . .
I FEEL GOOD!!! Adam will be appearing on GLEE!!! Adam will be singing with QUEEN in LAS VEGAS!!!!
ADAM IS CREATING NEW MUSIC!!! ADAM'S NAME IS ON IHEART RADIO MANY TIMES EVERY DAY AS THEY ADVERTISE THE 9/20 SHOW!!!! MY KIDS (those doubters!) SEE AFL AS A SUPERSTAR NOW!!!!
Something has changed in the public perspective! By 'public' I'm talking about my adult children, of which there are many (hence my name), and my friends and colleagues at work. To a person, they remark that Adam is 'famous' - even if they don't know the first thing about what he's up to these days. They all acknowledge his voice is one of the best in the world - even if they haven't heard him sing since Idol. Somehow, 'word is out' that Adam Lambert is an amazing artist. This makes me so happy!!!
Very simply - I'm not worried about how long it will take for A3 to appear. When it does I will be amazed. I don't worry about Adam being out of the 'public eye'. While I am drawn to every bit of news and every photo - like a moth to the flame - I'm certain, positively certain, that Adam will continue to amaze me with his talent and his presence for all of my life. It won't be a continuous flow, because that isn't the way any of us are meant to work. We need downtime; creative time; away time; quiet time; reflective time; time to clean closets; refresh; pull weeds; re-examine priorities. That's how we stay grounded. That's how I want Adam to stay real, and friendly, and connected. If it means he falls off the radar; I don't care. If it means that some fans find other interests; I don't care. I hope the bigger picture is the one that ultimately frames his life. Filled with the colors he inspires; the images and dreams he brings to reality.
We've been reminded, over and over, to 'Trust a bitch' and that 'this is just the beginning'. I hear those words, but what I really pay attention to is the man himself. I want to give him my patience. I want him to know I'll be around for however long it takes. I've listened to 'Trespassing' a thousand times. What's a thousand more?
