7.26.13 Adam News & Info, a Little Idol Judging Speculation

Count me in with those that think it does not really matter. For those millions that only remember Adam from singing Mad World under blue light and have not heard about him since, it does not matter whether it is 4 years or 5 years or even 6, time flies for all of us and we don't know this for other artists either.

If somebody like Fantasia, for example, would now put a new album out, I normally would have no clue when her last one was, if I were not here on this forum and would read about stuff like this. But if her album made big enough a splash that it would show on my radar, then I would know who she is and remember, oh yes, season 3, North Carolina, Summertime....whatever...

Same with the non-invested idol viewer thinking, Adam, Hollywood club kid and rocker, Mad World...they know something...and they are going to listen up.

What matters is that when new music shows up for A3, that the push is intense enough and on many different platforms, to reach as many folks as possible. And does not only bark up that one useless tree called radio alone, like RCA tried quite unsuccessfully, because I believe that a huge number of folks interested in Adam, don't actually care about radio one bit. But we just saw with Bonnie McKee how a brilliant idea (the promotion video, not the other one) can easily propel you to the forefront of the public discussion.
They (whoever they will be ) just have to get really creative and allow Adam to step out of the normal comfort zone of traditional promotion and rather just be himself.
Then create some media, especially TV spectacle and make some noise. RCA just had no clue what to do with Adam.


Anyways, that's water under the bridge, I just wanted to chime in and say...the important part is that it is timed with all the other stuff like Glee and maybe idol, rather than how long the distance to the previous album was.

Now I'm confused... I did not know that she did not like to, but I'm still laughing ...
