Some thoughts and reflections about Adam and being a fan.....
Sometimes I feel like I can't catch my breath with joy when Adam does one of his amazing vocals,sometimes I feel deflated when I can't find him,as though I lost him,when I never actually had him, Sometimes I try to make him fit my expectations, and sometimes I get REAL and realize I'm a fan ,not a friend,not a lover,not a relative, a person who loves the sound of his amazing voice,enjoys his successes ,cries at his hurts.. but in the end ,I am an observer of another's life.
I said a couple of weeks ago that Adam was at a crossroads and that seems to have happened.. He is no longer that boy on Idol,Adam is now a mature man ,who has grown enormously. His vision has more depth,he has experienced much , he is no longer that starry eyed boy ,but a man who has been around the block a few more times.. Adam is certainly his own man as he has just declared with his label as well as with the attentive world.. It's his life ,his art and his time. He is the master of his own fate.
This in a world that screams conformity...

Remember him? I vaguely recall he was introduced as the new drummer at one point, but then he was gone.. maybe someone with a clearer memory can fill in the details for the new peeps.. bigFAB @fabegger 2h having an incredible time working with all the talented artists im working with right now but I miss hitting with @adamlambert & the crew. He is Swiss and got some kind of visa problems and couldn't follow Adam on non-tour. I thought the Swiss drummer was only been hired to do the 1 gig in Australia in the first place because neither Rick nor Isaac could do it. He did fly from Australia to Switzerland after the gig to renew his visa, but i don't think that had anything to do with his not playing on the non-tour. But I think that was how the visa problems rumor started. For all we know, it could have been Rick whose visa had not come through yet. But of course I could be totally wrong as I was yesterday about the Tommy hugging Adam picture being taken when Tommy was given the news about his Dad being hospitalized. But I remember the picture being used in blogs and such when Tommy's dad became ill, so probably a mistake that got perpetuated. And very likely the caption on that particular version posted yesterday was about when Tommy received the news even if the timeline of the picture was wrong. |
