I found a link to her page where she has pictures of quite a few of the dolls she has made. She says she is an amateur, the dolls are not for sale and she loves Adam (no kidding!). @stampgal, easily a million, probably much more depending how you are counting. If you think of all the musical events, where Adam has foregone pay, because it was for charity, you can see that this million can be achieved with ease. Just Kiev alone probably adds 250K to that million. This is independent from the money that his fans have collected and contributed on his behalf. Craazyforadam and suzie12, For sure I agree, as per my comment about he has given generously as per time, energy and voice to charities, ....and it may well add to that amount, but just to clarify my thoughts...re the slant or reporting style being suspect. ie..Articles about celebrities ...donating time, or volunteering for causes, singing for flood relief, etc: I am not sure that I have ever read an article that adds up "those kinds of things" and puts a dollar figure on them. As I read that article and the comment beneath, as per....Wow Adam donated 1 million DOLLARS to charity...type comment....some may assume that it is has been cash donations ...(after taxes with income tax benefits, as per Carrie Underwood who donated 1 million recently.) I still think it is misleading. Adam has been wonderful, and is fortunate enough that he has taken the initiative, or has been asked, and that he can give of his time, and resources for many causes. In some cases I have no doubt there are some expenses covered by Adam or gifts of his music. The gestures/concerts/etc. are genuine, and many benefit. |

First , Adam saying that the album is NOT gonna drop in the fall is 10000000 times better than his saying that it IS gonna drop in the fall , and then he says "Sorry , gotta delay it to next year" .

Second , We ARE gonna get a piece of Adam in the fall , with Glee , and iHeart Radio ...

And she has even created a couple of those kimono inspired outfits that are perfect and fitting. Can you imagine what these dolls would bring on ebay?!? OMG. I am glad it is so clear she is doing this from love over commerce....and therein lies their extraordinary value. I would really wish Adam would find this site and let her know how beautiful it is. I think it would be better if he did that in private though as there would be horrific pressure on her to sell if he were simply to tweet it out. What a beautiful thing..... |
