These drawings by Mary Mary are incredible. I just love it! When I see his spirit, his soul shining from those eyes, captured in a drawing, it just takes my breath away. So beautiful! ---------
On more mundane matters. Stampsgal, I am not sure where you are going with this? Whatever anybody does with their personal money, is their own personal decision, and a fan is not going to know what Adam does and good for it.
If some other artist wants to make a mega proclamation about what they have donated out of their private money, then that is their business. I hope they have a honorable reason to do so and don't do it just so they get written up in some paper. Otherwise, when it comes to stuff like that, I tend to assume that if you have a lot, you should also give a lot, and so I am not going to get into a tic-tac-toe about who gave more what when and what is better or more worth. I'm sorry, not going to do that.
I only responded to you, because it sounded like you were doubting the claim made in the article. And given that forgoing revenue is a public or semi-public information, it is very simple to say, that the report is not wrong or overstating anything.
Adam is doing a lot. He may be doing more than what is written there. There is no need for us to know that. Peace.

Interesting.
Susie Fierce SusieFierce :D RT @thewrap: TCA: Sean Hayes' 'Sean Saves the World' Is 'Post-Gay' tinyurl.com/n28x43xSean Hayes returns to comedy with his new NBC sitcom, "Sean Saves the World." On the new series, Hayes plays a divorced gay dad who switches from being the weekend parent to the fulltime parent of a teen daughter after his ex-wife exits their lives. Conversation during the Television Critics Association press tour quickly moved to Hayes' groundbreaking 90s comedy, "Will & Grace," and its impact on the gay rights movement and Television programming. "I think, of course, it was impactful," Hayes said. "But to say that having been on it, I don’t want to sound egotistical. To remove myself from 'Will & Grace,' I would like to believe that it had a great influence on the gay movement in America. According to Joe Biden, it did." Also read: TCA: NBC Execs Say Canceled 'New Normal' May Have Been 'Ahead of Its Time' After the failure of Ryan Murphy's gay family comedy, "The New Normal," NBC seems to be downplaying any political goals or messages of "Sean Saves the World." "For this show, which I consider a post-gay show in that there's a gay man in the center of it but it's not about being gay," executive producer Victor Fresco said. "I think without 'Will and Grace,' we wouldn't be possible." Linda Lavin, Thomas Lennon and Megan Hilty also star on the multi-camera show, which premieres Oct. 3.

Gorgeous work. L ove the one with the fist in front. It is so realistic, it looks three-dimensional.

Gale Whittington @galechester TWC Central: Young Stars Behaving Well! Adam Lambert: Despite remaining near the top of Forbes magazine's annual... fb.me/PJzKmGK1 www.rr.com/content/twccentral/home/entertainment/galleries/Better_Than_Bieber.html#/3Adam LambertDespite remaining near the top of Forbes magazine's annual round-up of top-earning past American Idol contestants, Adam Lambert's net worth hasn't changed much due to his philanthropy: the singer has given more than $1 million to charities, particularly music education and LGBT ones (the singer himself is gay). The flamboyant glam pop-rock singer is a true icon for anyone who ever wished to be different, and that is beyond commendable Although I would not have a clue what Adam has given to charities... definitely a voice, advertising, linking with, singing for, travel for, = time and energy...all of which is time/money...and hopefully even outright cash. But I wonder if this person REALLY knows. I am not so sure Adam is at the point in his life to have given a million dollars to charity. I think whomever wrote the article is getting this confused with articles or information re donations from fans for the causes he supports, as the number 1 million seems to be too coincidental. My take=Don't believe everything you read on the internet. Stamps, I tend to agree with you. Every time I've seen the million mentioned they were actually adding up fan donations especially when they talk about music education so I thought when I saw this article that it was a rehash also. That's not to say that Adam has or has not donated cash from his own pocket in this amount but unless the recipient wanted to use the occasion to make a big deal of it to garner more publicity (ie matching gifts etc) then I very much doubt that Adam has a public "see how much I donated list", doesn't fit with his personality as I see it. And the article makes no claims as to whether this is cash or in-kind nor is it comparing other celebrities and how much they've donated. Great publicity but still think it's a rehash.
