But there are some popular artists/shows that do not have very much art, fanfics, macros and so on. So Star Trek has more than Star Wars. Adam more than Kelly Clarkson. And the size of the fandom does matter too. There is a LOT of fanart in the Adam fandom. Artists are inspired by him. And so are dancers, authors, other musicians. Of course Adam is not the only one. Nobody said that. Just that it is astonishing how around the world art springs from the inspirations that Adam is giving, and it does so in rather large numbers and in many different styles. That's all. We also see only what is online. Katy Perry has fans who dress up for concerts in very elaborate outfits. |

I've wanted to reply to posts about fan art by jean1010 and Craazyforadam with quoting, but forum hate me today  Anyway, no, this is not only Adam fandom thing. Every music or movie star, TV Show, movie or even sport which is popular enough has a fanbase full of talented people. First fanbases that come to my mind are BBC Sherlock, Supernatural, Lady Gaga, Formula 1 or Star Trek - I've seen tons of art inspired by them in every style you can imagine, from comics to super realistic paintings. But there are some popular artists/shows that do not have very much art, fanfics, macros and so on. So Star Trek has more than Star Wars. Adam more than Kelly Clarkson. Because there are artist like Kelly - cute, talented but without real spark, and artist like Adam who has it all. BBC Sherlock fandom is really big and very active and TV series Elementary (which is not that bad) don't have any fandom at all. Becuase there is something missing, something vital - call it spark, sexiness or chemistry. Kelly and Elementary don't have IT. You can be fan of them, but do you really care? |
