The same is in Poland - normally right wing exstermist in our country hate Russia, but they love Putin for this anti-gay law. .... and the world tilts further on It's axis causing rampant insanity It may seem that way because we have such instant access to information, but the reality is that human rights in general and LGBT rights in particular are progressing in most parts of the world, not getting worse. Yes, we can find places where things seem to be moving backwards, but those countries that have always has a history of oppression. The Queen of England recently came out in favor of marriage equality and for most of its history, the UK was hardly a shining example of civil rights. If you look at the real numbers of people who die from genocide, war, disease, murder, and even just old age, the world is actually a safer place to live in than its ever been, even with over 7 billion people in it. That doesn't mean we should be complacent about anything, but it should be encouraging that change is happening and keep us motivated to keep working at it. The fact that organizations like allout.org has the kind of influence it does bring attention to these issues is huge. And Adam himself and the acceptance, support, and love he encounters in these countries (he's bigger in those countries than the US!) would never have happened a few decades ago. The hardcore right-wing has always been strident in their views, some are just plain loonies, and they're always going to be doing and saying things that seem insane. Even my very conservative relatives have come to support LGBT rights and they find this praise of Putin to be disgusting. They may be noisy and irritating and sometimes frrightening, but that doesn't give them as much power as they think they have.

Ok, important question: are you pronouncing Avicii as 'A-vee-see' or 'A-vee-chi'? I was pronouncing it one way and then my husband did the other. I would have been inclined to think he ws right because EDM is his thing, except he realised the other day he has been pronouncing Ed Simons from the Chemical Brothers' name wrong for about 20 years after I met Ed's mum. Don't have time to look back, but the Soundcloud someone posted the other day of his Promo Mix 2013 had his name pronounced in it several times. Either 7/31 or 8/01 I think. I found the SoundCloud. It sounds like ah-vee'-see to me. soundcloud.com/aviciiofficial/avicii-promotional-mix-2013

It is interesting...and no one here has apparently gotten the connection...that singer Audra Mae is also featured on the Avicii album.
Audra, who is the great-great-niece of Judy Garland, sang at the Upright Cabaret during the period that Adam was also performing there. I believe that after Idol Adam even attended one of her shows there to show support.
Since then, Audra has been slowly been building her career by doing music festivals.
So Avicii is using TWO singers who came out of Upright Cabaret, and are real singers, as opposed to auto-tuned creations like Chris Brown and Rihanna.
ADDING THIS: Per her website, Audra has actually appeared with Avicii and sung live with him at some recent festivals.

Speculating and joking going around on twitter: Henry?1?! Glee (season 5) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glee_(season_5)
Cast
It has been reported that there will be changes to the main and recurring casts: Amber Riley, Heather Morris, Mark Salling, and Harry Shum, Jr. will be moving from the main to recurring casts, and fourth season recurring cast members Jacob Artist, Melissa Benoist, Blake Jenner, Alex Newell, and Becca Tobin will be joining the main cast.[4] Two former main cast members, who appeared as recurring guest stars in the fourth season, have been cast in series regular roles in new television shows: Mike O'Malley on Welcome to the Family, and Jayma Mays on The Millers. O'Malley has confirmed that he will also be appearing on Glee in its fifth season, and Mays "has been cleared to appear in a few episodes" of the show.[11][12] In a recent interview about her upcoming movie, The Smurfs 2, Mays confirmed this would be her last season with the show, and in the same interview it was revealed that Matthew Morrison would also be leaving the show.[13] Recurring guest star Vanessa Lengies has also been cast on Mixology, but she has confirmed she is not leaving Glee.[14] On July 26, 2013, Nene Leakes announced that she would be returning to Glee for Season 5.[15]
To date, reports have appeared concerning seven new recurring characters being cast for Glee's fifth season: three females and four males. The females include Ruby, a new African-American student at McKinley High, and two women in their twenties, Ryan, who sings and plays the guitar, and a "cute and quirky" character variously named Julie and Jenny, who will first appear in the second episode.[16][17] The four males include three men in their forties or fifties: the talented and egotistical Roderick Easton; an intelligent and good-looking teacher named Jim Elliott; and Jurgen, who speaks with an Austrian or German accent.[18] The fourth, Henry, has just been reported by name.[19]
Ryan Murphy has announced that Adam Lambert is set to join the cast during the fifth season, though no further information is yet available on his role or the extent of it.[20]

Re:avichii interview(thanks craazy). I think it is amazing how cool and talented people connect with one another... That is one great thing about social media. I found it quite interesting how Avichii has had so many sponsorships thrown at him, and commendable that he chose Ralph Lauren whom he admired and purchased previously. Avichii seems like an interesting combo of cool/avante-garde/ with melodic/preppie overtones/undertones. Adam gets along so well in the artist to artist world.

4Ms - Love the pic you chose. Regardless of the character they have in mind for Adam, I would guess there is a stack of photos of him that could show the "type" they are looking for - unless it's mean...

I am only just now having a chance to fully listen to the Mid State Fair show, blasted from good speakers all over my house. DAMN!!!! Adam was just ON, fully connected, loose and letting his amazing voice just riff and rip!!
I think ending with RCA was and is totally liberating for him. I cannot wait to see what he has in store for us on A3!
